This month marks my one year of JP ownership. The first six months, I couldn't get enough. The T-Rex, the sounds, the Raptor kick...I was really digging it. But, as time went on, I realized I was just not getting any better on this machine. My Indy 500 I've made gradual progress ; but with JP it seemed like I couldn't even complete one mode. Frustrating, especially when I read everyday on here how much fun the 125 different modes are. I liked playing it though, and just chalked it up to me sucking at pinball. It's now gotten to the point where I just grimace at her, dreaming of a replacement. Finally put her up for sale last week.
Well, on Saturday, Woody24 came down to help with the infamous DE ball search problem. He fixed that in about 10 seconds, then says..." Ya know, the A-hole here should be lit up. It starts all your modes".
SAY WHAT ??!!!!
SON OF A .....
Sure enough, Super Woody (as he will be referred to from here on out) flipped up the playfield.....and bam! Loose wire on the A-hole.
Un-freaking-believable. Played it broken for an entire year...and had no idea it was broken. Doh !
It's like having a new machine ! Damn,...JP IS actually fun !! Like, 37 games in a row fun !
So thank you so much Super Woody !
Mr. Obvious,...you're a life-saver.
