Game is a Data East Star Trek 25th. It was completely shopped a year ago when I bought it. It doesn’t have a ton of plays over the last year but I want to keep it as nice as I possibly can. I noticed there is some wear on the outer lanes and the main shooter lane. (not sure of the correct term lol) Also the right trough return is showing some wear on the playfield (not sure if there’s anything that can be done about this) it looks like there is a protector, not sure if it is stock to the game or one of those cliffys I read about a lot on here.
Any suggestions? Could it use a wax? If so, which brand? Thanks

My buddy Lee has an amazing how-to guide with some great tips, this should answer all your questions

If the machine is cleaned / waxed etc, I’d check the balls to ensure they don’t have any dings (or just change them over with new ones). Otherwise the above links are a great source of reference re: cleaning/waxing
