While tickets are still available, I wanted to give everyone in the pinball community a heads up on the upcoming craft beer/pinball festival called “One-Eyed Betty’s FestivALE” on Saturday, November 23rd. The event is a holiday celebration highlighting the release of special Christmas Beers, with Michigan brewery representation. There will be food stations with a cold-weather Comfort theme such as, Roast Beasts (your choice of Whole Roast Pig, Lamb, or Goat), a giant Tartiflette and long Apple Strudel. The event features some of the area's best Folk & Americana bands.
Inside One-Eyed Betty’s, Short’s Brewing Company is taking over all of the taps as they transform the space into a pinball hall with over 30 pinball machines on FREE PLAY. The event will feature games from from the 2000s all the way back to 1937, which will include three woodrail games. There will be a concentration on 1980s-1990s Williams/Bally classics including games such as Whitewater, Addams Family, Terminator 2, Scared Stiff, Getaway HSII, No Good Gofers, Whirlwind, Space Shuttle, Earthshaker!-to name a few. A full game list will be coming shortly.
The event will take place inside and in the parking lot to the west of One-Eyed Betty’s and in Troy Street. The parking lot portion of the space will be tented & heated and will house the stage with beer-garden style seating and ample standing room. The street will be lined with bonfires, heaters and circus performers.
Doors will open (rain or shine) at Noon on November 23rd, 2013. The ticket price is $20 for advance purchase or $25 at the door. The ticket includes entrance to the festival and a 16 Oz. commemorative cup that will serve as your drinking cup during the party (there will be rinsing stations throughout).
You can order your tickets at http://ferndalefestivale.com/ or at One-Eyed Betty’s directly at 175 W. Troy, Ferndale, Michigan.
