    Quoted from PanzerFreak:

Thank you Stern for raising prices to astronomical levels. Not only have you replaced a proper lockdown bar mech with Home Depot latches but you also replaced the head lock mech with two 50 cent bolts, made the head mostly out of sheet metal, implemented node boards that cannot be easily repaired, put the power button in an inconvenient location, and now some customers have to resort to using those glass removal devices that they see criminals use in action movies.

Stern has done some lame cost cutting things in the past. Those playfield pegs come to mind, but I think the lockdown bar latches and the backbox bolts are simple and effective.

They've been making cabinets for years that fit standard glass dimensions with relatively no issues. Now all of a sudden they can't fix this tight glass issue?

"Skinny glass" sure seems like an odd fix to me. Why not go back to the original cabinet / glass channel configuration?

    Quoted from mbl1116:

Out of curiosity, name a few... Which game is it?

It looks to be Godzilla based on his public collection page.

If you're having trouble getting the glass back in, I would try to get assistance from someone to help guide it back into the glass channels.

New Stern games are a tight fit for sure, but it does loosen up over time as some of the plastic from the channels wears away as you move the glass in and out of the machine.
