The problem with movie themes is that pinball machines used to be in arcades at malls, with movie theatres, so they functioned as a form of advertisement for up and coming movies... Now they are sold to consumers, so manufactures are only willing to produce ones with an established fan base... Manufactures need to start negotiating down licensing fees for new movies, work directly with route operators, and be able to produce machines around the $5k price point
To be fair OP is from Canada so maybe he means $10000CD, which is only $8800USD or roughly the MSRP of a NIB Stern LE + shipping... Still there should be a "would you be willing to participate in a poll where the whole point is to see whether you get hung up on the theoretical price point" option... That way there will be less "cheaters"
