Some is one thing. But when every music themed machine is based on bands that were in their prime 30+ years ago, and they continue to license movie themes from a bygone era instead of making any new original themes, then pinball has stagnated into it's own death sentence.
The only passion in pinball I'm seeing lately is for nostalgia. I can get all the nostalgia I need with the older machines. At a fraction of the price.
