Wow that is really something, love it. A Bonneville racer built a new work shop using shipping container as side and back walls. Talk about room.

R 4 for the ceiling, isn't that kind of lite? Unless you guys do R numbers differently down there. I have R 86 in my ceiling here in Minnesota which is just a little bit overkill.
Quoted from Zampinator:He isn't going to see -30, like you & I are unfortunately accustomed to seeing in the winter.
I know but a high R factor helps keep it cool when it's hot too.
Quoted from king-pin:First of the wall cladding.

Don't you have to put a plastic film vapor barrier over the insulation before you put the sheet rock up? Same with the ceiling.
Quoted from Toads:Our "R" Rating in Australia is different to the American rating.
That's what I was thinking it had to be.
Quoted from king-pin:Walls and roof sheeted.
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
You guys are really kickin ass on that. What color are you going to paint it?
Quoted from king-pin:Roof pinsulation in.
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
Oh aint that fun. I did mine myself.
Quoted from king-pin:Thanks,still working on the colours.
[quoted image][quoted image]
How about black, that place would look REALLY big then.
Quoted from king-pin:Third and final coat.
[quoted image][quoted image]
What are the 2 short walls for?
Quoted from king-pin:Colours chosen and purchased.
[quoted image]
What no primer?
Quoted from king-pin:Guttering hooked up to tanks.
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
So all the feeder lines stay full until they reach the level of the tank inputs correct?
Quoted from rotordave:Couldn’t be any easier than this.
If there’s a stuck ball, all the regulars know what to do ...

Ha I got that beat........keyless locks. No losing keys ever.
Quoted from radium:Took me a year to renovate my garage so this thread is really pissing me off
I think his was done a while ago and he's now just showing pictures he took of the build at a fast pace to make us think it's going this fast now just to piss us off.
Quoted from heni1977:My buddy showed me this as he does this with all his games. I like it and that way you can hang the keys for the head on the inside of the coin door. Without having to worry about misplaced keys.
I switched mine over after a friend got a little to agressive with a game and broke a key off in the lock with his knee.
Quoted from Black_Knight:Sounds like you should switch over your friends.
Ha, he learned the hard way, put a nice bloody gash in his knee.
Quoted from king-pin:The reason I put the key ring holders on the nib walls was to break them up and show off the nice timber that we have over here and to show off my mates timber work.He was ran over by a tractor when he was 10.He suffers from chronic pain in his back, shoulder and knee. His right shoulder has recently been replaced with a titanium one. Because of his injuries he can no longer hold down a job. This gives him severe depression. He loves to go out to his shed when his back allows him to and play around with small pieces of timber. I help him by buying as much as I can from him. Such a shame that not one person said "nice work or nice timber ".Bit disappointing actually. As for the distance away from the pins that the keys are I must be fitter than the average pinsider because the maximum distance of 10 metres I will have to walk doesn't bother me in the least.
I'm sorry to hear that about your friend, I can relate. Back in 85 I had a 6000lb roll of cardboard fall on me, only got a glancing blow to my lower back at the back of my hips but it ruptured my bladder, fractured my pelvis in 3 places and herneated 3 discs in my lower spine. If I had not heard a crack crack noise and pulled myself in it would have landed on top of me and I would have been squished in half. Everything healed to about 95% without surgery so I'm REAL lucky.
Quoted from king-pin:What's in the box?
[quoted image]
Something big from Marco.......a playfield?
Quoted from king-pin:Whoops,photo would help.
[quoted image]
I could tell from the size of the package.
Quoted from king-pin:My partner is shoving everything she doesn't want out the door.
[quoted image]
Well ya have to have someplace for people to sit and put their drinks and food on.
Quoted from king-pin:Forgot photos again.
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
I just love the bg and mirroring on that game.
Quoted from king-pin:Hardware store had just what I was after.
48 cabinet protectors cut out and drilled out.
Enough leftover to make another 12,so 60 in total. Material cost $17.So about $1.15 per machine plus time.
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
But they don't light up like mine. I know I know yours are cheaper.
Gorgar (resized).jpgQuoted from king-pin:Been a while since I posted. Death in the family and then the death of a friend all in the space of 10 days. Been putting up more paraphernalia and a dart board plus set up my work station and parts shelf. Started restoring Game Show.

So sorry to hear of your loss, 2 within 10 now that's really sad. Your place is really shaping up.
