    Quoted from heni1977:

My buddy showed me this as he does this with all his games. I like it and that way you can hang the keys for the head on the inside of the coin door. Without having to worry about misplaced keys.

I switched mine over after a friend got a little to agressive with a game and broke a key off in the lock with his knee.

Sounds like you should switch over your friends.

Three weeks ago you were a concrete slab. Are you sure these two are not your builders.

I think his was done a while ago and he's now just showing pictures he took of the build at a fast pace to make us think it's going this fast now just to piss us off.

The reason I put the key ring holders on the nib walls was to break them up and show off the nice timber that we have over here and to show off my mates timber work.He was ran over by a tractor when he was 10.He suffers from chronic pain in his back, shoulder and knee. His right shoulder has recently been replaced with a titanium one. Because of his injuries he can no longer hold down a job. This gives him severe depression. He loves to go out to his shed when his back allows him to and play around with small pieces of timber. I help him by buying as much as I can from him. Such a shame that not one person said "nice work or nice timber ".Bit disappointing actually. As for the distance away from the pins that the keys are I must be fitter than the average pinsider because the maximum distance of 10 metres I will have to walk doesn't bother me in the least.

Here are some of the other pieces he has made for me.

I would love to buy one of your friends timber pieces for my gameroom! I used to live in Adelaide and have a few pieces I brought back with me but would love to add to my collection. Love Aussie hardwood creations! Found a gorgeous box when visiting Melbourne made from a 100+ year old fence post. And a really great bowl when I was down in Tasmania.

The coat racks he makes using the railroad spikes look awesome and strong as hell.

Ha, he learned the hard way, put a nice bloody gash in his knee.

I'm sorry to hear that about your friend, I can relate. Back in 85 I had a 6000lb roll of cardboard fall on me, only got a glancing blow to my lower back at the back of my hips but it ruptured my bladder, fractured my pelvis in 3 places and herneated 3 discs in my lower spine. If I had not heard a crack crack noise and pulled myself in it would have landed on top of me and I would have been squished in half. Everything healed to about 95% without surgery so I'm REAL lucky.

The desk is by far my favorite piece out of the ones you've shown so far. It turned out beautifully. Your friend is very talented.

Sounds like you were really lucky but at the same time unlucky. At least you can still play pinball.

Thank you for the kind words about my friend. I will show him. You won't believe how much it will mean to him and will make his day.

That reminds me of a joke.

These stools are made of old fence posts.

Cool thread. I was a little surprised from an Aus point of view that you needed to start with the whole timber frame to end up with a essential what we'd do with a steel colourbond shed design from one of the many suppliers in this country. I was trying to work out the what the timber was doing that a steel version wasn't but I can't see anything as insulation and lining process ends up the same essentially. I'm looking at adding a steel construction addition to a farmhouse on a property I own to add a two story arrangement with additional accomms and entertainment space (pinballs of course).

Nice playfield! I got super lucky a couple months ago and found a Bally Harley Davidson at an estate auction. The owner bought it brand new and it looks like it couldn't have had more than a few hundred games on it over the last ~27 years.

I absolutely love the wooden clocks. My grandparents always had one that looked similar hanging on the wall.
