Still never had one issue with Uship to date. Most I've ever paid with them was $300 for about 1400 miles to me.
However, I just had someone ship me a pin from Chicago to SC using Fastenal. Yes, the nut and bolt company, seems they do freight shipping store to store. Cost was a flat $150 for the trip. The pin did have to be palletized but they stood it up on the pallet and secured it, etc. He just took it there and made sure it got done.
So if there's a Fastenal in your town or nearby might be worth your time. Total transit time was about three days and you pay for shipping when you pick it up.

The guy delivering the game didn't have a pallet jack either
