I got my hands on a flat pack bartop cabinet. I was thinking about making some templates in case I want to replicate it. I know this can be done with a router, which i have. Any tips on how to do this?

Quoted from Farmboss:

I think you want a straight bit with a ball bearing sleeve. The original cabinet would have to be deconstructed. Laying the old part on top of the new mdf you would simply run the bits against the old part. It will make quite a mess.

It hasn't been put together yet, so no worries there. I was thinking of using luon (sp?) for the templates, do you think that would hold up?

Quoted from Pinless:

Would a metal template work if you had access to a CNC plasma table?

Ha! I wish.
