Quoted from Wolfmarsh:

I just started The Toys that Made Us, it's really good. The Kenner lawyer in the Star Wars episode (ep. 1) was hilarious.
I watched the new netflix movie with Will Smith, Bright. It was pretty good I thought.

If it has Noomi Rapace in it . Added to watch Noomi Rapace is great in ever thing she acts in . Remember Noomi's abs In
Prometheus !! After I binge BBC's ' The Crown " Bright is up next .

Speaking of Noomi Rapace, we recently watched "7 Sisters" on Netflix (Movie is actually called "What Happened To Monday" in the USA, "7 Sisters" in other markets). It stars Noomi Rapace who plays all seven sisters.

Bright is definitely worth a watch. The movie critics don't know shit about anything. Entertaining.

Bright looks like a remake of Alien Nation for those of us old enough to remember that movie and TV show.

Yeah it does, but it’s a little wierder. The premise is that instead of an Alien race its more like the races of fairytales were real and still exist in modern day, que your various racial tensions metaphors. It was entertaining and kind of a new spin on things.

Watched the OA, that was great! Starting Black Mirror, really liking it so far.

Two new Dave Chappelle specials just dropped on Netflix today.

Sweet!

Southpaw is a good boxing movie I watched last night.

Have you watched his new stuff? I’d like your opinion.

I was having a hard time getting into his new stuff...

Yeah, it's definitely different than he was a decade or two ago, but I liked it.

It got a little preachy during the second new one where he is seated for most of the set, but he is also not wrong.

Just binged through 2nd season of Travelers... loved it.
And Dark was awesome.
But I love time travel sci fi type stuff... (wish 12 monkey's were on Netflix).

Just started Cable Girls and it is very good... (had to watch with subtitles in in spanish though b/c I couldn't stand the awful dubbing)

We stumbled on a movie called "A Street cat named Bob". If you like cats, it's a good movie. It actually has a good storyline and not just about the cat.

I was pleasantly surprised by this british film.

It's not on Netflix, but I just watched Beyond Skyline last night. It's the sequel to Skyline, a sci-fi movie from 2010. It was pretty cheesy, but I liked it.

Yes

If you like zombie movies you might want to check out "Train To Busan". A south Korean movie.
It has subtitles but is still a great zombie flick.

Amazon is streaming The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel for free from now until Monday night. It's an excellent show that I highly recommend.

Nexfix original 'GLOW' sound ludicrous .
It is not . Very very good TV .
Alison Brie and her collaborators -- co-creators Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch; co-star Betty Gilpin -- managed to make the campy spectacle of TV's Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling the site of a complex sisterhood.

I really enjoyed GLOW as well. The trainer for the wrestlers was hysterical.

Not on Netflix but Counterpart on Starz has promise. I watched the first episode and was pretty good.

The behind the scenes real trainer on the Netflix GLOW was Chavo Guerrero, jr, of the world famous Guerrero family - and his uncle was the REAL trainer on the real GLOW back in the 80s

Just finished watching Jessica Jones season 2. This might have been the worst TV show ever. Nuff said.

It's just you. I enjoyed season 2. I like the arcs they took on a lot of the character development.

Bump.

Some good stuff being added to Netflix this next month.

If you have never seen Sergio Leone's epic Once Upon a Time in America, now is your chance.

Also, for the Halloween season, Stanley Kubrick's The Shining will also be available.

I've got HBO Go and "Darkest Hour" was very good and "Greatest Showman" if you like musicals
