Hawks vs. Packers should be a good game as usual. Chancellor needs to stop being a little bitch and play. Go hawks
Tough loss, both teams played good but Packers played better. We will get them in the playoffs, when it really matters.
Quoted from centerflank:Um, this is seriously the worst ass whooping I have ever seen in fantasy football. Great road game Bears!
Screen Shot 2015-09-27 at 6.38.10 PM.png Screen Shot 2015-09-27 at 6.37.20 PM.png
Fucking hell. Talk about destruction.
Quoted from centerflank:Watching Bell run is pretty sweet, he's got some bounce to him!
Cept I'm against him in FF.
Quoted from chuckwurt:Hey Ronnie. Wondered if you cared to make a friendly wager on the Seahawks bengals game? Here is what I was thinking:
If the bengals win, I mail you a bengals hat or tshirt you have to be seen wearing at the next Seahawks game you attend (just a quick pic of you wearing it at the game is fine), and vice versa if Seahawks win. Loser pays shipping of the item.
Sure! I plan on making it to at least one sea chickens game this year.
Quoted from chuckwurt:I have fantasy players in a Thursday night game. Always makes me nervous. Haha
I feel ya, I have Ryan, Bryant, and Atlanta's Defense
Quoted from chuckwurt:Haha. Not looking good for you or me. Btw, that bengals shirt ships tomorrow! I'm sure you're really excited. Haha
Ryan's doing OK FF wise, def and Bryant.... not so much.
Quoted from chuckwurt:Only the steelers can win with a 3rd string QB and a horrible defense. Just ridiculous.
I hate the steelers!
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Fuc#ing done with the seahawks. Way to throw it away again!
Quoted from Kkuoppamaki:Don't give up Ronnie, I need another hawks fan here. I'd rather lose after a good game than have no chance of winning. And hawks have a chance
Nah, not even close to giving up! Just frustrated...
Quoted from John_I:Don't worry, the Bucs are consummate masters in the art of blowing big leads.
I feel ya man, its been a similar story with the Hawks this season.
Quoted from chuckwurt:Locked up in a tight one. Keep throwing picks Cuntler!!!
image.png
I too have a close one this week:
Quoted from centerflank:So anyway, great game for tonight-Hope to see a bloodbath, 2 great NFC teams playing against each other.
Who Hoo!!! Lets go hawks!
Quoted from centerflank:Yes, Im rooting Hawks but need about 4tds from Fitz, Seahawks win, all good for you?
edit-----or 30 catches for 5 yards works for me too.
Funny thing is, I need Russel to do bad for fantasy. However a win for the hawks is much more important.
Quoted from centerflank:Cmon Fitz, squeeze me out a few more points to get me closer to beating that evil Ron Mexico!
Screen Shot 2015-11-15 at 9.23.40 PM.png
I've got Bernard too, gonna be a close one for me.
Quoted from chuckwurt:No kidding. Wasn't he over 200?
254 if you include passing yards! Got your shirt btw.
I'm stuck with Gore and Karlos Williams at RB. Ive needed a reliable running back all year but haven't been able to land one. The waiver wire in my league is death valley.
Quoted from centerflank:Those manning nationwide commercials are really starting to annoy me
Ya think?
Grabbed Scott Chandler in FF! I can't see how he wouldn't go off this week against a lackluster Philly defense and New England's historic use of tight ends.
Quoted from centerflank:We need to run that fumble play for TD more often!
God, that was weird!
The Lions played awfully on that last play, but then again that play should have never happened.....
Quoted from centerflank:Go Hawks! I have their D starting in fantasy and a win by them knocks the Vikings back even with the Pack!
After last week, our defense was fired up and ready for revenge! They had done a superb job of shutting AP down. Keep it up!
Quoted from wcbrandes:Seahawks are playing up to where they should, however once again the fing refs are playing the majority of this game! What gives I'm getting really fucking pissed watching them on TV more than the players!
Yeah, the calls have been suspect at best...
Quoted from centerflank:Great day of Football so far!!!!!! Giants lose, Bears lose, Vikings lose, Falcons lose......early christmas!
Gabbert is not given enough credit IMO.
Quoted from centerflank:On another note. Seattle is gearing up, no marshawn, no problem. Next man up. Rawls is a spark.
At this point I'm picking the Cardinals to rep the NFC in the Super Bowl, panthers going down in the playoffs.
Cmon Pack! True wild card! Sunny in Philadelphia style!
Gonna have to disagree with ya there, its gonna be a ThreePeat!
Completely agree with you teekee! The Vikes just need another year. If they can find a little more talent in the receiving game over the off season they will be a force to reckon with.
Quoted from chuckwurt:I hear ya. I would say most causal impartial fans would like the steelers. When you're that good for that long, people take notice and will probably root for them in neutral setting.
I can't root for the steelers cause they stole the superbowl from us in '05. Go Bengals!!
Man, Russel Wilson is HOT right now! Gosh whoever has Doug Baldwin or Tyler Lockett is happy right now!
Quoted from davewtf:you got DuJuan Harris, though.
Hopefully he will be decent. He played okay today but I'm willing to chalk that up to not playing for a while. We will see how he does next week against the browns.
Well I'm not sure if its just my league, but on my league when the playoffs start we don't use the computer anymore. I don't really like that.
Quoted from chuckwurt:What do you mean you don't use the computer anymore?
So one the regular season is over our commish. will set up a chat room. From there teams will write in the chat who they want going in order of finish in the regular season. From then on, you add up your score manually not using any website or other program.
Quoted from chuckwurt:Crazy. Very interesting format. Never heard of that before.
Yeah doesn't make much sense to me if there are websites that would do that for us. I just figured thats how they all were.
Quoted from chuckwurt:Haha. Not since like 1998. Maybe try ESPN or yahoo next year. Totally free and don't have to calculate anything by hand.
We do use Yahoo, this really my first year but our commish. has been doing it for a while. The rest of the season has been using the website.
Quoted from PorkChopExpress:Your commish doesn't know how to play fantasy sports.
I'll ask him why he does it that way. I'm sure he has a reason.
Quoted from centerflank:If you and Chuckwurt join we can expand to 12 teams, its a 2 player keeper league and has no prizes or entry fee, just for fun and smack talk.
Sounds great! Who do you use?
Quoted from centerflank:We are at 10 now, you can't add one team and must be 2 adds. We do a live online draft.
I'll email you guys the link the set your team up when the league renews.
Awesome! Thanks
Quoted from centerflank:If someone drops out I'll let you know, one team I'd like to boot.
That one guy who autodrafts and never does anything with his team?
Quoted from centerflank:Plays dudes on bye week too! Unbelievable!
Thats who I played this week, 6 players on IR or out. Ruins it for me.
It's gonna be a cold one for the hawks this week, forecast is -9 degrees with windchill! This is one I don't mind watching from my room...
Quoted from centerflank:Wow, how did you get stuck with that? Oh man.....
Go Chiefs, hoping you get this win Leechman!
By taking Lynch in the first round.....
Quoted from centerflank:Reed is a great TE, I had him in fantasy this year.....
Am I still welcome to your league next year? Cause that would be awesome!
Quoted from centerflank:Yes, was it you and chuck wurt I promised? I'll get you 2 in.
Ya us 2. Should be fun! Thanks for gettin us in.
I could see Kelly working wonders with Kaepernick. That was the one thing he never had in Philly that was imperative to his system, a QB that can run. I could also see him going with RGIII.
Quoted from jayhawkai:You were saying?
It still was a better catch. But Rodgers made one of the best throws ever!
Quoted from jayhawkai:You were saying?
It still was a better catch. But Rodgers made one of the best throws ever!
I think Kaepernick stays in SF or RGIII goes there. The only place that I can see Manizel going is Houston.
Quoted from chuckwurt:So Brady in Denver.....yeah. Lot of game left, but woof.
He is getting pounded!
Quoted from BillySastard:Why is that funny? He's the NFL MVP and he completely dominated the field this past year except for the SB. Besides GB and NE, the rest of the teams would be complete idiots not to grab him if he was available.
Now can he carry this over to next season too? I hope so as I think he's fun to watch, and I'm not a Carolina fan.</blockquote
I'll keep Russel Wilson, thank you very much.
Quoted from Jaybird815:The US appeals court upholds Brady's 4 game suspension, he must serve it at the beginning of the year.
Couldn't be happier!
Quoted from Erik:There goes a reliable 8-12 INTs that will be difficult to replace
Nah, you have Cassel now. Should fill in perfetly
Quoted from chuckwurt:Cannot wait for the season!! I predict a bounce back for Jeremy Hill (in a big way), Dalton stays about the same but remains healthy, Eifert is banged up all year, AJ Green is a top 5 WR again, and the Bengals finally win a playoff game!
Who else has some predictions other than predicting against mine? haha.
Seahawks are winning the Superbowl.
Quoted from chuckwurt:If you get an early pick in fantasy, you taking him?
Not round one, I'm not that big of a homer. He looked great last year but he's a little risky.
Quoted from chuckwurt:There are only 4 teams in the NFL who have made the playoffs the past 5 years
Pats
Broncos
Packers
Bengals
Oh and that's with being in arguably the best division in the NFL. If you think the Bengals are not one of the NFL's best, you're delusional and obviously living in the past.
WHODEY!!
*Ahem* The Seahawks have made the Playoffs the last five years as well.
Quoted from chuckwurt:From what I'm reading they were 7-9 in 2011 and third in the NFC west. I guess that could be wrong, but that's what NFL.com says.
That's 100% correct and they made the playoffs with that record. It was the year of the beastquake run against the Saints. Worst record ever for a playoff team.
EDIT: I'm an idiot and stand corrected, that was 2010, not 2011. Carry on
Quoted from chuckwurt:Haha yeah I was gonna say. Cannot make the playoffs with a 7-9 record and be in third place in the division.
That year they beat the saints in the playoffs was crazy. That's what prompted most of the debate that playoff home games should be based off record.
That game was awesome!! Yeah 7-9 is pretty lame for the playoffs but at least they made it interesting!
Quoted from dmbjunky:I'm not a Seahawks fan but I remember jumping up and down when Lynch broke off that run. It was amazing.
One of the best runs ever!
Quoted from TheLaw:According to the St. Paul Pioneer Press, he was grabbing his left knee as teammates prayed around him.
Ouch
Torn ACL
Newton, cam and Wilson were the top 3 picks in my league. Left Odell for me at #8. Can't complain there!
Quoted from Jaybird815:Jeez, QBs didn't start goin until the 4th round in both my drafts
Yeah I agree. I didn't choose mine until the fourth round.
Quoted from mcluvin:Yeah, the Bears seemed to have it together for 1 or 2 early drives and then pretty painful to watch.
Pretty much until Cutler got hurt.
WR crisis on my team! Who should I start, Jarvis Landry, Mike Wallace, or Brandon Marshall? Marshall is questionable but usually plays through most pain.
Quoted from chuckwurt:Pretty much the only TNF unis I've seen that are any good.
I like the new seahawks and chargers.
Quoted from TheLaw:WOW you don't say?!?!
Hey, at least we don't dress up as bumblebees when playing!
Quoted from TheLaw:I try to stay away from comparing one to the other, becasue we're both fans of the teams and will generally like our own better.
Just looking at it scientifically though; this is fucking putrid. it doesn't really matter if another team has one worse.
We will just agree to disagree
Quoted from MrBellMan:These two were awesome yesterday!
You guys really seem to have your QB situation figured out. Carr is the real deal.
Quoted from RobT:Damn, beat me to it.
Carr is a quality QB.
By the way, my Cowboys are 3-1! Dak has yet to throw an INT.
Its crazy that the only 2 QB's that have started every game and haven't thrown an INT are rookies.
Quoted from MrBellMan:Ok... Is it just me or does the MNF's commentators suck? Lifeless commentary IMHO...
The game sucks too
Oof, that game took at least couple of days off my life... 4-1, not a bad way to start off the season.
Quoted from RobT:...and my Cowboys are 5-1 with their third string quarterback.
Didn't see that coming
Hey, wasn't knocking the Cowboys, don't have anything against them. A great draft for Jerry Jones and company. Dak and Zeke are the real deal. Their defense has been much better than expected. I smell a playoff run for the Cowboys!
Quoted from SteveO:I didn't watch the game but I don't think Beckham was ejected. Maybe he only had one. I know he got flagged for taking off his helmet during a TD celebration.
I think that was the only one. He also proposed to the kicking net!
Quoted from chuckwurt:Oh yeah I saw that. He had a pretty great game and beat up on Ravens. I'll always be okay with that.
Ill take it, especially when I have him in fantasy.
Quoted from CrazyLevi:Redskins Offense is getting scary and nobody realizes it. They have so many weapons that when Jordan Reed is out it just means more chow for everybody else.
If Kirk Cousins can cut out his one boneheaded INT per game they are a top 5 offense.
Defense? Who know but they looked great destroying the Eagles. Who they own. That's four straight against the loathsome Eagles!
Cousins has only gotten better as the season goes on, yet nobody seems to notice. The skins are on a roll now that they have a running game going.
Holy fuck, what dumb ass game. Our offense didn't deserve to win anything, our defense played lights out. Cards weren't much better on offense and their defense was just as good. That balances out to a tie, luckily it didn't really effect out standings.
Quoted from timtim:Go Browns.
and man nothing like a tie at night.
Kessler has looked pretty good when in. I think in a couple of seasons you guys might have yourself a decent team!
Woooo, that was a good game to watch!! Hawks offense finally showed up, but the defense didn't really do much... Wilson finally looks healthy!
Looks like Cousins is the real deal. Pretty surprised by that one, I figured he was gonna be a one season wonder.
Yeah, the Fins always seemed like they had quality players, but they could never put it together. Sucks that Prosise is out for the hawks. We are suddenly very thin at RB... Though I do think Rawls is gonna tear it up for the rest of the season.
Everybody gets good and bad calls against them. Last night, the Raiders won the penalty battle, I'm sure in a couple of weeks the Texans will get the calls their way.
Quoted from TheLaw:No, the ratings are down because most of these teams are HORRIBLE to watch. You have a few exciting teams that you'd watch if it isn't related to you, but overall the product is just pure garbage.
Teams right now in playoffs if it started.
Lions, Redskins, NYG, Bal, KC, DEN
Now, The Skins are heating up and they're getting to be a good time, but all these other teams are dreadful to watch. The Lions, seriously? The best team in the NFC North just had to cum(sic) from behind to Beat the Jags with 1 offensive TD @ home.
They're the defacto #1 team just as Bal is in the AFC North, what a joke. KC is cruising along like every year in a totally boring and forgettable way.
Super low QB play in a league that's build around the pass more than ever. Let's just take the AFC North QBs thru 10 games
Flacco 10 tds 9 INT
Dalton 11/6
Rothlisberger 20/7 Missed 4 games
Browns guys I don't even know.
Gawd awful
I couldn't agree more. I tried to watch the Ravens Jags game a few weeks ago, and I literally fell asleep.
Don't sleep on the Bucs either.... Won 3 straight and aren't far behind the Falcons in the NFC south. They also just handed it to the Hawks..
Quoted from chuckwurt:Man it's crazy how you pretty much live or die based off your quarterback. I'll have to keep that in mind next year. Gonna draft like 5 of them just to keep them off other people's teams.
Yeah, I drafted completely wrong for this league. I took Tyrod Taylor, who in regular leagues is a great fantasy guy cause of the rushing. He sucks in this league cause he only throws 150 yards in a game.
Quoted from Whysnow:what happened to get you booted?
He missed putting someone in one week, so Flank suspended him for a week. Astro tried to argue his case and then Flank booted him.
Quoted from chuckwurt:Anyone else make their fantasy playoffs? I got in and my first matchup is a tough one.
Only other options for players I have is mariota and Landry. I desperately need to find a TE off waivers. They are such a crapshoot.
I'm blouses btw
I would put Mariota in.
Quoted from chuckwurt:It is a tough decision. I'll keep looking at it, but I like Brady's matchup better.
He doesnt have much to throw to.... Mariota has been money since week 4.
Quoted from Erik:The problem with Mariota, from a fantasy perspective, is he throws so little compared to other guys. Although he's tied for 4th in passing TDs, he's 28th in attempts per game (28th!!!) That especially hurts in the massive douchebags league since you miss out on completion points.
Denver is excellent against the pass, and just average against the run. I expect lots of Murray/Henry this week.
Speaking of massive douchebags, I'm playing you this week. I fully expect to crush you!
Quoted from Ronnie1114:Speaking of massive douchebags, I'm playing you this week. I fully expect to crush you!
Oh, fuck that guy
Quoted from Erik:He shaved the moustache and his game went to shit!
Well, I don't think he played that badly. He just didn't need to do anything at all when Murray and Henry were running all over the Broncos.
Quoted from chuckwurt:Come on man. Even over Marvin Lewis? Now you're just being a homer.
Not even a competition...
With the lions loss, the Hawks move to 2nd seed in the NFC. I can't see us losing to the disasters that are San Fran and Arizona. Super important for the Hawks to get at least 1 home game, cause lord knows we can't play a football game on the road if its not in New England.
Quoted from o-din:They tell me all week on TV I get to watch the Dolphins Bills game in the AM, but NOOOOOO. Another victim of the POS Rams moving to LA.
That's OK though as they pulled it out at the end of OT. Another 200+ yard game for Jay Ajayi, making that three for the season.
Great job fish!
That was a seriously fun game to watch!
Quoted from RobT:I can't believe Carr is out. Ugh.
That Cardinals - Seahawks game was crazy.
Yeah, was a good game to watch after the half. Goddamn kicker cant hit shit. Don't much care for the way Bevell is calling the plays. O line needs to be addressed in the off season soooooooooo bad! But hey, at least Wilson looked like his usual self.
Oof, bad day for Broncos fans. Because Carr is injured, my bet is on the Chiefs to represent the AFC in the super bowl.
Quoted from dmbjunky:Some of those guys had great years so I'm not sure what anti pro bowl means.
Essentially the assholes of the NFL.
Quoted from dmbjunky:As a Seahawks fan, you would know what assholes look like.
That was kinda uncalled for...
Quoted from dmbjunky:I meant a lot of the Seahawks are assholes but it is funnier the way you took it.
Well, Sherman probably would make it on the anti-pro bowl, but I struggle to think of many others.
Quoted from fosaisu:Giants will take care of them for you.
I really don't know which one of those teams I would rather play.
Quoted from Lethal_Inc:How do you figure that? I think they are #1 against the run and in pretty close to the top in a lot of defensive categories. Mack is a monster!
Their secondary was REALLY bad at the start of the season and it has only gotten slightly better. Their run defense is middle pack I think.
Can't see Seattle losing this week... Sometines its real hard to remember that this team beat the pats in New England, they have been so up n down. Here are the rest of my picms:
Packers over Giants
Raiders over Texans
Steelers over Fins
Picks for next week:
KC over Pittsburgh
Dallas over Green Bay
Seattle over Atlanta
New England over Houston
Quoted from Astropin:You're kidding right? Not about the Seahawks being better...that part is true. But there were some horrendous no calls in that game! The very first TD (which was a great catch) he was face masking the shit out of the Lions defender.
Definitely was a face mask there by Richardson. Most people didn't make much of a deal about it because: A) It was a really great catch and B) It really didn't effect the end result of the game.
Quoted from JY64:So how did things work out for you Ronnie
See, if you had any brain cells you would have noticed that I posted that right after Brady threw a pick 6, thus my joke worked out perfectly.
Quoted from tilt-master:That win is for Ronnie
Can't say I wasn't thinking of the irony when Brady almost threw that pick from the 2 or 3 yard line...
Quoted from RWH:Not sure about that, I can think of at least 4 or 5 QB's that would command more in my opinion but, there are stranger things.....
I think what he was referring to is that now that Cousins has been franchise tagged for $25 million he is now the 3rd highest paid QB. This is why I was saying that the Skins messed up, they are paying too much.
Quoted from Whysnow:glad it is not Chicago!
Chicago should go after Jimmy Garapollo, or however you spell it.
The best place for Romo is Houston. Great defense, good receivers, good RB, and a really weak division.
Bills keeping Tyrod was the best thing they could have done. Without a doubt, better than anyone else they would have gone after.
Quoted from Whysnow:does someone want to start a new tread for the current season?
Maybe it will bring some much needed luck for my Bears
https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/ot-official-2018-2019-nfl-thread#post-3732339
Typical draft for the Hawks so far, trading out of the first round. I can't complain, because they are the best at getting deals in the later rounds.
Quoted from SteveO:Best game I have seen Russell Wilson play. He has ice in his veins.
Yeah, that was definitely the best game of his career! Every time he threw it downfield it seemed to go for a huge gain! Same could be said about Watson, those picks were killers however. Now that we traded for their left guard, its lookin pretty good for the hawks.
Key matchup this weekend for the Hawks, a win would give us the division. I really think that Russe... er the Seahawks can pull this one out!
Quoted from TheLaw:God what a year he's having. I don't see how he isn't the MVP and I am no Hawks fan.
I had about turned the game off this weekend when they were down, I should know better. I cannot believe he got us back in this one, too bad the defense and refs let the hawks down this time.
Quoted from CrazyLevi:Yeah, Luck is probably finished. The curse of the 2012 draft.
Maybe he and RG3 will open a car dealership or something.
At least there was 1 good qb to come out of the 2012 draft class...
Quoted from TheLaw:Anything can happen. The biggest knockout killers this year are the Lions. Blown out by Jets, beat Pats, GB, Car...wtf?!
10 tds 5 int by week 11...uff I didn't know it was that bad.
An even more insane stat was how the skins had not had a lead change all year until this last game. Every game they started out ahead, they won and the other team never took the lead. All the other games they started behind and never came back. Pretty crazy that this lasted until week 11. Even crazier that they were winning this way.
Quoted from Lethal_Inc:LeVeon Bell, what a frickin tool!!
More like genius... The guy is gonna get his money next year and he didnt have to put his body on the line to do it
Kevin Harlan is without question the best announcer... Written has smart things to say, but stumbles over his words every other sentence. Whoever he is with on Monday night games is the worst. Joe Buck repeats the same phrase every time anything happens in the game... "What A ____" Annoys me to no end
I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasnt for Hunt to be released by the Chiefs... He deserves it, but players like that usually get another chance...
Quoted from mcluvin:He’ll probably get picked up by the Redskins.
Maybe him and Reuben will beat some sense into each other...
McCarthy isnt a bad coach, but both he and the pack needed a change of scenery. I dont mind them firing him mid season, but I wouldnt have Joe Philbin running it for the rest of the year...
Quoted from Whysnow:just wanted to say thanks to the Seahawks!
Wont be saying thanks when we take you guys out in the playoffs
I would much rather play the Cowboys than da Bears. Worse offense, coach, and defense than da Bears. Plus its indoors!
Quoted from TheLaw:Oh I agree the brothers thing is the best & most legit angle.
We'll wait on that one but I don't see any reason he'd be leaving here. He still has tens of millions to collect and they sure as shit aren't going to fire him; not how they work.
Harbaugh has a massive ego...there's no way he's going to leave when he sees a chance to beat OSU this year.
I could also see Arizona as a landing spot for him. He hates Pete Carroll and loves having the chance to beat him.
I like the hawks in the playoffs this year, we are built so we can take out anyone! The run game just soaks up all the game time with really time consuming drives and our defense is tough in the redzone.
Tough loss, but a great season overall with how low expectations were in the offseason. I think there is a lot to like for next year
Quoted from fosaisu:Hope you’re prepared to EAT CROW if they lose.
I doubt it, seems like the usual Cowboys fan
Quoted from RWH:Cincinnati's new HC will come from one of the teams left in the playoffs now. I think this because I'm 100% positive they're not promoting from within or it would have been done with by now; no what makes sense is they have chosen from a team in playoffs which would preclude them from making any type of announcement under current NFL rules. Lets see how it goes...……...
I heard they were done with all the interviews they wanted to do and were just deciding among the people who have interviewed.
Anyone who discredits the Pats/Bellicheck/Brady and what they have done, is just salty their team isn't as good
Quoted from vicjw66:And yet they won. And I saw both games. KC crowd wasn't anywhere near as loud.
God, you are so dillusional it's almost alarming. "Crowd noise is cheating" wah wah wah wah cry baby. Get a life lol
