Man, I've been avoiding this thread since my Steelers kept losing. But finally they got rid of that goose egg and perhaps they can still make something of this season.

Quoted from jrrdw:Ravens by 10, for the 4th straight at Hiansfield!
Two of those three Ben wasn't playing. It's not like you've been doing so well at home against Pittsburgh yourself.
Quoted from jrrdw:Where are you getting that from? We are doing better then Pittsburgh both at home and away.
Last three games at Baltimore against Pittsburgh:
2012: Pittsburgh 23, Baltimore 20
2011: Baltimore 35, Pittsburgh 7
2010: Pittsburgh 13, Baltimore 10
Also, Baltimore has won the last 3 regular season games at Pittsburgh, but Pittsburgh beat Baltimore at home in the playoffs in the 2010 season (Jan 15, 2011).
This makes 9 of the last 11 games between the Steelers and the Ravens that the game has been decided by exactly 3 points. Go Steelers.
Five games this weekend where the betting line is in double digits:
New Orleans over Buffalo by 12
San Francisco over Jacksonville by 16
Denver over Washington by 13
Green Bay over Minnesota by 10
Seattle over St. Louis by 13
Detroit vs. Dallas? The line has Detroit by 3.
Quoted from Pin-it:Thats a big spread.
Jacksonville at Denver 2 weeks ago was bigger-- in fact I think it was a record. I think it was 24 but could be wrong, I know for certain it was 20+. -- just checked, it actually was 27. Denver won but did not cover (35-19).
I've heard of college football spreads getting all the way up to 50 before.
I don't know what it is with the Oakland Raiders, but every time the Steelers play them they fall into a pit of suck that they can't climb out of before time runs out.
This was actually the most relaxing game of the entire year to watch the Steelers play. Took the lead before halftime, built a comfortable lead, didn't let them score again until the clock was almost entirely gone.
Quoted from Asylum:GO LIONS!
Well, they went, all right, for the second quarter. (-:
Anyone insane enough to start Roethlisberger as their fantasy football QB was richly rewarded.
Steelers aren't quite back yet, but if they can knock off Baltimore Thursday night they'll finally be back to .500 at 6-6 and will definitely be in contention for the playoffs (and maybe even division title if Cincinnati stumbles).
