They are paying Matt Ryan MORE this year than they paid Wentz last year?

Jim Irsay is truly a genius and QB whisperer.

Next year $18M against the cap if they cut Ryan, $29M if they keep him

They'll probably just trade him to Washington who will of course take on his entire salary.

And give up a high draft pick for the privilege of doing so

INDY HAS FOLES ?!?!?!

Whoever has Foles is just in a hostage situation. He has a STATUE.

How Many QBs in America have a statue and are still in the league?

Super Bowl MVP

6' 6" one of the top 20 tallest QBs of all time. He can see over the line !!!

picket seasoned

Your patience is respectable. Back in my day, teams seasoned the QBs. They thought beyond "this season".

These days teams just can't afford to invest forever in bad QBs. I mean look at Ryan Leaf...20+ years ago, the NFL gave him FOUR SEASONS to attempt to show he wasn't a complete bust and scrub and he was given that time without ever showing signs of life.

These days, a QB like that is much more likely to get the Josh Rosen treatment.

Brian Hoyer may be the smartest working man in America. What's better than getting paid millions to hold the clipboard? Gonna say getting paid millions to stand on the sidelines in jeans and sweatshirt as the 3rd stringer. Dude is somehow still on the Patriots payroll and has a guaranteed 1.4M coming in 2023.

Salute! Mr Hoyer

Lifetime earnings from teams AFTER getting cut.....almost 13M

nwpinball wins this week's pool. With everyone on the Pats, he can't be caught.

If anyone has a time machine sitting around, do me a favor and go back to mid-'70s New Jersey and tell a little boy to not become a Jets fan because nothing but a lifetime of disappointment and heartbreak will come of it. Seriously man, finally having our first good season in nearly a decade, how about season ending injuries for your Pro Bowl caliber RB and G/T? Wouldn't that be fun?

You beat the Packers 2 weeks ago, you’re world champions in my eyes.

Next man up. In 2017 the Eagles lost Pro Bowl LT Jason Peters, special teams captain Chris Maragos, Pro Bowl RB/returner Darren Sproles, starting middle LB Jordan Hicks and likely MVP QB Carson Wentz.

Won the Super Bowl.

And Michael Carter is pretty good

That Eagles team was very impressive. Thankfully our defense is still intact, but I don't think there's enough booze in a 20 mile radius to cope with a Zach Wilson-heavy offense. Ah well, I'm not looking for the moon anyway, if they could just hang in there for a wildcard spot I'd be thrilled.

My brain can't unsee those fingers crinkled up.. Tua is committed! Put his helmet into a linebacker yesterday where he should of just slid feet 1st!

Should’ve just thrown it away.

They have the Bills twice, Pats twice, Phins, Vikings, Titans and Hawks on the road. To make the playoffs, they'll need to win half of those.

The Jets just traded for James Robinson from the Jags, he’s solid.

Yeah a conditional 6th sounds like a bargain

Congrats. Now I have to root for the Bears so you don't cut further into my season lead.

Yeah, just saw that, it's a nice recovery. Especially for a 6th or conditional 5th.

Sounds like there’s a lot of bears fans in Boston tonight?

Is there a single home stadium in this league where you can’t expect an invading army of opposing fans?

Not really since Stub Hub etc are selling overpriced tickets from season ticket holders looking to cash in. Fed-Ex field has been Philly south for a while and Met Life has been Philly north since tickets were plentiful when they were losing.

I doubt there is an army of Steelers fans at the Linc on Sunday.

what's a guy gotta do to get some zappe in this game?

Funny thing is that his TD was a terrible pass

And ZappieMania ends, but it was a thrilling quarter.

Wow the patriots suck.

The Brady vs Bill debate is long settled, right?

Lots of 3-4 teams this season!

The bears win and all you can think about is the Packers.
