Would love to see what Sam Howell could do but there's something to be said for not throwing the poor lad to the wolves so soon. I think we'll see him at some point towards the end of what is going to be another long, painful season, but Rivera loves his cronies/vets so I'm sure it's more Taylor Henicke for the time being.
As an aside: Obviously the Wentz thing turned out to be a disaster just like everybody said it would, but at the very least it's a one-year disaster - his contract is up and he can be cut loose to enjoy the next 7 or 8 years as a well-paid backup on 4 different teams. It won't cost Washington anything cap wise after this season, which is something I pointed out all along.

I'm Cowboys through and through...but I'm also a football fan. I will root for good teams regardless. The bills are legit. They have been my cat pet for years now.
My fridge went out today, so I missed most of the college football action. I would have loved to see Bama lose, looks like it was a classic. I did see bits of the badger game, and sat down in time to see them lose it in 2ot... so there's that.
