Quoted from tomdrum:You can chase the money or chase a championship. After you already have a fat bank account, some NFL players want the latter. He chose wrong. Carr or Rodgers?
what was the difference in the offers?

Packers offered more money in the 1st 2 years. He refused to play under the franchise tag. Packers got #1 and #2 draft pick and he got 5yrs $141M deal. He didn't want to be there was the bottom line.

One would have to imagine family influence plays at least a small part. If I were the young wife of a multimillionaire I am sure Vegas has a little more to offer than Green Bay.
Had to google it but had no idea his wifes name was Devanne, thought it was a typo of Davante at first. It is his goal in life to be forever overlooked by spellcheck.
Anyway, curious who you believe (ignoring QB) has the better overall team? At least on paper Vegas seems to have little reason being 0-3 right now, and seem to have a brighter future.
Quoted from boscokid:Tough choice really - would you rather be a 29yo multi-millionaire in Vegas or rural Wisconsin?
He's also from Cali, and went to college there, so stands to reason it might be nice to get back to the area.

If that was his motivation he miscalculated, Vegas isn’t in California. Maybe he didn’t realize the team had moved.
Quoted from jandrea95:Not sure I agree, but I did give out a light hearted chortle at this.
Bring back Marvin Lewis!
Loving Sunday morning football, not so sure I am loving Saints chances with 3 of their best players on the shelf
Quoted from tomdrum:5 FG's means your QB chokes.
It’s been that way for over a decade
Quoted from EJS:We get by on stupid luck then it falls apart in the post season
How do you think we got that last TD
Quoted from jandrea95:Not sure I agree, but I did give out a light hearted chortle at this.
3 ballers nonetheless. These men are ready for another vengeance game in honor of our Bills brethren when they fall to the Ravens.
Zac sucks, I've said it many, many times, his play calling is pure shit
Quoted from tomdrum:5 FG's means your QB chokes.
Okay. Having watched the game, I’d argue it was the run game that let them down in the redzone (as well as two drops). Add on top of that it’s a stupid international game and I’ll take the win.
Looks like I'm going to bounce between Browns game and Dallas game. Dallas/Washington could be entertaining.

Not buying it. It may not be as good as other coaches, but it’s good enough. And all the other strengths he has, combines for a very solid HC imo.
Seahawks score, up 7-0 over Lions.
If Tom Brady’s goal was to play at age 45, is Pete Carroll’s to coach at age 80?
Seahawks looking good against the Lions on their opening drive and first defense... until that fumble followed by touchdown. Ouch.

Lions kicker missing the EP, ouch!
Quoted from DanMarino:What are your excuses today, Bills Mafia? Ravens running away.
Quoted from newovad:But some of those folks are playing.
I can't view the game. I don't know who's playing. Disappointment regardless with the way they are playing.
Quoted from DanMarino:What are your excuses today, Bills Mafia? Ravens running away.
They dont play well in the sun, only play well in bad weather. The Ravens are using the wrong kind of rain though, so it doesnt count today. At least the refs handed Bills 7 at the half on the no call PI that ended Ravens previous drive.
Kicker misses Lions’ second extra point of the game to end the half, Seahawks up 24-15. Anyone have an extra place kicker to spare?
Quoted from nwpinball:Lions fans are not happy.
Any fanbase would be upset at what the refs just did. Lions stop Seahawks on third down, and refs call it back AFTER the play to say the play clock wasn’t set correctly. I noticed the clock issue when the play took place, but the refs did nothing, so I and just about everyone at Ford field thought the play should stand. Instead, Seahawks get a free play and score a TD.

Oh for sure, I saw the clock problem too, it's amazing none of the refs did.
