Yeah. He just didn’t like the decisions ownership and management were making and he dug his heels in and basically demanded a trade. Can’t say I really blamed him at the time. Looking back, I think Marvin was too much of being the players’ pal, and not enough of a leader. Same with Carson. Instead of leading, he just complained about the state of the team.
Burrow and Taylor don’t seem to have these same problems, so either ownership changed their tune dramatically, or these two are just way better at this than Marvin and Carson.
He does like to make a lot of strong takes now a days too. Seems to be trying too hard. Don’t see the point in him continuing to take stabs at bengals ownership. It was like 15 years ago. Just move on.
