Quoted from romulusx:

I suppose you respect Buddy Ryan now too!

I respect him as a Defensive coordinator, but he was never really a good head coach.

As with most jobs, you get promoted if you are good. Unfortunately, that doesn't mean you will do well in the new title.

Not everyone is cut out to be a HC.

Everybody absolutely doesn't want that matchup. My source is me. I don't want to see that matchup. I want the Chiefs to win the super bowl.

We have a GREAT day of games coming! I'm excited!

Yesterday was bananas, today even crazier with 3 games. Agree with @thelaw, why the Monday night game? Will watch it either way.

Go Cards!

More days of football is a great thing imo

I just saw CBS post that too:

"The Buffalo Bills had an offensive performance for the ages, a feat that has never been executed in NFL history. In the Bills' 47-17 blowout victory over the New England Patriots, Buffalo never punted, kicked a field goal, nor turned the ball over -- the first team in league history to go an entire game with no kicks, punts, or turnovers."

I am with you there, but for a diff reason. I have three teams. My Team (Philly), teams that are neutral, and teams i fucking hate. So i cheer for My Team, then the team i dislike the least. Steelers are in the bottom with patriots and cowboys (no offense to those fans, they are entitled to their poor tastes haha). So go Chiefs!!

Like last night, i had to root for the bills because i despise the Patriots so much lol. Next round everything changes.

I was referring to the bounty’s he put out for Cowboys

#37665 2 years ago

Ok, my wishlist for the rest of this weekend:
* Eagles beat Brady
* The Chiefs beat Ben
* For both the SF/DAL and ARI/LAR games: they go into quadruple overtime and run everyone so ragged that none of the teams will win next weekend regardless of who actually is victorious. That or meteors.

Not surprisingly, it’s being reported that the officiating crew for the LV/ Cin game will not be officiating anymore playoff games. They were so bad on so many different levels.

After watching the game I have to agree, if that's the best officiating crew they have for playoffs the NFL had best start looking elsewhere!

Only dog I got is SF.
Very good chance Stafford pulls a Stafford early though

It's all part of the game. He played with a vicious mindset, specifically as a DL and DC coach. I can't fault him for that. If anything, I wish the game hasn't become as watered down as it has today.

I can’t really agree with that. When I’m taking a trip down memory lane and watching old redskins highlights, it’s pretty painful to watch. Literally every play there’s a late hit, horse collar, head shot, defenseless receiver getting clotheslined, or a million other things that would get flagged today. That stuff is best left in the past.

I guess I am somewhere in-between. I like hard hits. I hate all the dainty whistles these days... especially on the QB and on PI calls. They completely change a lot of games. Of course...it also tends to lead to higher scoring games as well.

Either way, the NFL never asks my opinion before rule changes, LOL

#37672 2 years ago

Congrats to Cincy but they'll need to be a lot better in the red zone. Raiders D has the worst red zone rating in 30 years. Might've been a different game if the Raiders receivers remembered to bring their hands in the first half. Too many easy catches dropped.

Right on cue...a poor call for roughing the passer that kept the drive alive...

#37677 2 years ago

The penalty for the hit on Brady was total bullshit. Barnett even held him from falling and helped him up.

Any other QB would not have gotten that call.

It’s not about hard hits it’s about putting a dollar value on them.In other words a reward for taking out the kicker a higher award for Dallas QB

Worked past 10:30 last night, so I’m watching the recording this morning. It’s 33-3 midway thru the 3rd quarter, so I’m pretty sure what the outcome will be … brutal loss like we used to wallop on others during the Brady era.

Congrats Bills on what’s looking to be a solid win yesterday. Go far and represent the AFC East to the fullest the remainder of this post season

#37682 2 years ago

The bills had a perfect offensive game. First one in history. Every drive was a TD. No turnovers.

TheLaw do Michiganders like Brady?

#37684 2 years ago

Running backs should not be allowed to run side to side. Stupidest thing I’ve ever seen. North and South only.

Horrible play calling from the Birds so far.

#37685 2 years ago

Eagles better make something happen this drive or this one is getting out of hand

Yup. They can’t just have a good second half in this one.

It was very surprising the Bengals didn’t punch all those opportunities in. They’ve been really good in the Red Zone this year. Hopefully they sure that up next game.

The NFC East must sacrifice 1 team to the first round Gods every season, this could bode well for the Cowbows. If the Gods are pleased with this sacrifice, they may very well overlook the Cowbows until next week.

#37693 2 years ago

You can not be a 1 dimensional offense and have a chance in the playoffs.

Cowbow?

Quoted from Jaybird815:

Does this mean we won’t see Patriots fans around here for awhile?

Still here even after the whooping. Saw the ‘game’ earlier this morning - ugh, somebody (a LOT of somebodies) forgot to show up last night.

#37696 2 years ago

Carlton Davis has a full gold grill in.....

I just don't see why you would want to play with that in.

The Bills had a perfect game plan and I'm not trying to take that away from them, but it's also worth stating that the Patriots also technically had the worst defensive gameplan in the history of the NFL. I like that idea too.

Eh.
Pats have one of the best defenses in the league. Bills being the best.

The issue was Allen, the receiving core, singletary and Knox. They’re just too damn good. When allen is on fire, doubtful he’s stopped.

#37700 2 years ago

Another bullshit call that negates a 30 yard gain. Total crap. Kelce didn’t even hold him.
