Quoted from Erik:

I always wondered why Miami fell off the map. When I was a kid they were so dominant. That area generates tons of college athletes who go elsewhere.

Quoted from metallik:

Bengals beat the Steelers twice in the regular season, but the playoffs are a special level of misery. I really hope the Chiefs get rid of them... I'd 100% rather have a rematch with KC than give Ben one last chance to fuck over Cincy.

On the flip side that's why I was so happy to play the pathetic Browns last playoffs

NFL players just want to pay their fair share of taxes so they eschew Florida.

are you still a Grizzlies fan after they hightailed it to Memfist?

#37414 2 years ago
Quoted from Daditude:

I like the Bills. They are definitely on the upswing, which is a great place to be in this league.
I have already gone on record saying I would love to see a Cowboys-Bills Superbowl. Here's hoping it happens!

Cowboys won't get that far.

#37415 2 years ago
Quoted from Erik:

Was a grizz fan when they were here..but always been a lakers fan from early ‘80’s. That pennant was signed by all the players/coaches in their inaugural year..might be worth something 1 day

#37416 2 years ago

I was a grizzlies fan but switched to the Raptors after they left! And heck ya the cowboy's are going far. At least past gorapollo!

I think the Cowboys certainly have a realistic chance.

They're about the same calibre of qb. Which one is gonna throw more pics than td's tho.. that's the question!

#37420 2 years ago

If the cowboys win, it will be from defense imo.

#37421 2 years ago

Here’s how i’d like to see it go:

1) Eagles over Tampa
2) Niners over Cowpokes
3) Cards over Rams

4) Pats vs Bills. Scoreless tie, both teams eliminated from playoffs for this disgrace. Bills less offensive i guess? Its close.
5) Chiefs over Steelers
6) Cincy vs Raiders. Both teams thru since the AFC east had to go home. Cincinnati has always been neutral to me tho, so i can get behind them.

In Reality:

Opposite of everything i wish above lol. Just to spite me LOL.

I didn’t expect the Eagles to make the playoffs. Part of me thinks they really didn’t since i’ve not mentally adapted to the new playoff format. I’m not against it by any means. I do think it makes getting top seed that much more worthwhile with only 1 team per conf getting the bye. My prediction is the score will be closer than the game feels even tho eagles were never in it - ala Superbowl 39.

Those graphics are superbad. I would have guessed Jimmy G is Mayfield and Dak is Jake from State Farm 2.0

You might not be far off.

Dak puts up MVP games half the time, and the other half he DOES play like Jake from state farm.

for the stats nerds, NFL has created their own QB grading metric to compete with PFF and QBR

As a Titans and Grizzlies fan I'm feeling pretty good at the moment. That may not be the case in the coming weeks, so might as well bask in the sun while it's shinin'!

Quoted from jandrea95:

I certainly appreciate Brady and respect what he has done in his career, but nothing would please me more to have beaten him in the Super Bowl, and now to end his playoff run early this year.

Put the GOAT on the retirement boat.

#37433 2 years ago

LETS GO BILLS!!

#37434 2 years ago

Go Niners
My biggest concern is turnovers.Jimmy G throws behind the receiver 35 % of the time maybe more.Dont tell Dallas.

Ill still cheer for Brady vs Cowboys/Packers, but other than that, nope. Ill probably change my mind as this emotional roller coaster known as the playoffs gets going.

I can Never catch a break at work. The rivalries and hatred for other teams is intense . I love it. This is some of the shit I get from my coworkers

Mixon or Chubb got kind of screwed by Jonathan Taylor's season. He got all the AP all-pro votes so they left 2nd team all-pro vacant.

Parsons with 46 out of 50 votes as the 12th pick in the 2021 draft. Gonna be more than a couple teams that wish the draft came with a mulligan.

The Dallas/SF game is going to be so fun. Deebo has to be the hardest guy to tackle in the NFL. Can't wait!

Note interesting to no one but myself: In the 2019 draft, the Pats selected WR N'Keal Harry with Deebo, AJ Brown, and DK Metcalf still on the board

I was crying to myself about this very "chose N'Keal with Metcalf still available" (the correct words escape me) last night. There's blowing a draft pick, and then there's "N'Keal-level" blowing it

I don't think about that stuff too much. 32 other teams also passed on all those guys at least once.

Just like 25 or so passed on Aaron Rodgers etc. etc etc.

There's Washington fans pissed that the team drafted Chase Young instead of Justin Herbert. Just like every single other team would have done if they had the #2 draft pick.

Until GMs get a crystal ball or magic DeLorean that stuff is going to happen forever.

sure but it's the same position. Just an oddity and certainly revisionist but I find it interesting. They went for a traditional back shoulder guy instead of the more explosive players.

Pats don't seem to have drafted great over the past few seasons yet they keep hanging around.

The Patriot way!

You can probably add Diontae Johnson to that list as well.

I did laugh at this little nugget from Wikipedia that no WR ever wants to see on their page.

'According to PFF, Harry was one of the worst WRs in the NFL in getting open vs. single coverage. Placing 99th out of 100 receivers."
