Quoted from mof:Prepping my wish list for Santa:
Dear Santa,
I've been really good this year.
The commercials during NFL games have not been really good this year -- quite naughty in fact, could you please intervene?
1. grawnk selling ... anything
2. bad lite seltzer with the man boobs guy and the gaping mouths
3. ok ... any flipping commercial with a gaping mouth
4. Commercials with Rodgers hair in a man bun.
Quoted from mof:Taysom Hill reminds me of this guy the Raiders had in 1998 when Jeff George needed a little help. He was a LB in an earlier life that turned into a QB.
Donald Hollas. A name only a Raider fan can think of. (although it looks like CINCY had him for a few years for a few games too)
He fought hard in '98 and remarkably -- had the skill set to take the Gruden-led Raiders to 8-8.

I have no recollection of thst guy, but those are some terrible stats, even by backup standards

Please no Big Ben in Miami! haha
Taysom does OK in relief in special short yardage situation. I guess it creates a more dynamic set of plays on a shorter field. So now a guy can run wild, and has a better than RB ability to pass. That opens up the playbook over a guy like brees who has no ability to hit the pylon.. It's basically why cam was effective for the first game baaaaack where he handled only the goalline stuff. You have the defense on their heels.
You would think the same HCs that use these guys specific to those situations with success would remember quickly that excellent arm talent is a necessity for a real starting QB, and these dudes just don't cut it on that level.
Watched the lowlights of Dallas game last night. My favorite Aikman comment “And there’s another pass to nobody in particular.”

1st 2 maybe,Big Ben out to pasture.
Ben should not only retire next year but he should also succumb to his injuries this year and start the development of their next qb.
Quoted from Dee-Bow:...and start the development of their next qb.
I guess you haven't seen any of their games this year, they don't have their next QB, that's the problem.
Quoted from TheLaw:I guess you haven't seen any of their games this year, they don't have their next QB, that's the problem.
You’re forgetting about Mason Rudolph
Quoted from TheLaw:I guess you haven't seen any of their games this year, they don't have their next QB, that's the problem.
What happened to Haskins? Kept hearing about how he was maturing and being generally awesome earlier this season.

Haskins gonna Haskin'

Yeah that's basically all i heard.
The sad part is Rudolph wasn't the reason they tied with Lions. I hope they aren't talking themselves into anything dumb....er.
Go jets, fish, & raiders.. then on Monday.. go Bills (because, why not!) & the other team clearly cheats!
Just a reminder that 2 Saturdays from now is NFL solstice.Football 4 days a week.Browns/Raiders and Pats/Colts.Gettin' good.
It’s not good when you care more about your clothes and your wheels than you do about playing football, work ethic and getting better at your job.

Has he even played a full game in the NFL?

And they traded him to Pittsburgh?

They cut him after week 16 last year, he was photographed at a stripper party the night before he had a terrible game.

Teams with a wallet full of maxed out credit cards

Detroit will get their first win against MN today. Vikings are pretty much rolling out a second string defense because of injuries and I have zero confidence that Cousins can pick up the slack.
Quoted from BillySastard:Vikings are pretty much rolling out a second string defense...
Against Lions 3rd sting offense? I believe in Jefferson & Thielen

Cousins deserves a good amount of the criticism sent his way (lining up behind the guard hahahahaha), but....
His stats this year are pretty great. He is basically putting up the same stats as Rodgers and that dude gets nothing but love for his on the field work.
23 TD to 3 INT is pretty nice.

Quoted from TheLaw:Burrows Pinky is not looking well.
It looks broken/dislocated. He is grimacing every time he is making a throwing motion. That's not good.

Good call
Are the lions really going to pull this off??
I'm not holding my breath until the clock reads 0 in the 4th
