Quoted from chuckwurt:All of them.
But you’re right. Let’s get more victory formations!! So exciting.
Exactly, I’d rather see a guy go down to keep the clock running then the final 2:00 be kneel downs.

Quoted from mof:Oh really?
Just how many game winning drives would you like to see, that start in the final 2 minutes?
My answer is and always will be... 1
Not 2
Not 3
I regret to hear that you actually like to see this new trend of people FLOPPING to the ground in bounds out of FEAR of scoring too quickly (on drives that start <2:00) -- hey, more power to ya -- I hate seeing those plays.
Back in my day, people didn't flop to the ground to burn clock on 2 minute game winning drives. They scored the touchdown, celebrated, and they knew they had just won the game...
They didn't score in fear.

Just play better defense if you don't like losing in the final mins.

This is called strategy. Sorry you think that sucks.
The only way to ensure the other team doesn’t score is to not allow them to have possession of the ball. Sometimes falling down in bounds ensures that. It’s smart.
I think they should just shorten the final quarter to 13 minutes. That way we don’t have to worry about any more of these ridiculous last minute wins any more at the final two minutes.
I prefer to have a game winning drive in the final 15 seconds, so long as it’s my team doing the winning
That's one way.
I think putting the ball on the 20 or better yet -- the 15 during the final <2:00 is the better solution.
Nobody wants to say, "Play a full 58 minutes !!!"
Quoted from chuckwurt:falling down in bounds ensures that. It’s smart.
I agree when you are up by 2+ scores on what you think is your final drive. You flop in bounds, and you kneel.
I have no concern with that scenario.
They should just keep the time secret like they do in soccer. When the refs decide the game is over, thats a wrap.
Quoted from mof:I agree when you are up by 2+ scores on what you think is your final drive. You flop in bounds, and you kneel.

Well you would have LOVED the Washington / panthers game yesterday. Washington RB Gibson ran out of bounds like a lunkhead on 3rd down at the panthers 10 yard line instead of flopping, giving cam Newton 2 minutes to work with instead of 1:10.
Shockingly Washington still managed to win and there was no “last second winning drive.” Not sure it how it happened. Someone explained to me that it was “defense” but I’m still trying to wrap my head around it.
Rules changes now!!! 58 minutes of football for sanity!!
Quoted from CrazyLevi:58 minutes
Instead, we should just have no scoring for the first 58 minutes. It should all just be warmup.
The people have spoken.
We just want to see 3 lead changes in the final two minutes. That's the part of the game where we really want to size up the two teams.

Well, at least we still have a game to look forward to tonight...and 3 more on Thursday!!!!
Thanksgiving is one of my favorite football weeks of the season.
Quoted from TheLaw:rough day
SMH man, it's a legitimate act of football intercourse!
Would you prefer we discuss cricket or perhaps, soccer?

Quoted from TheLaw:Looks like Monday is the new rough day in this thread
This thread threw my whole day off. I thought it was Tuesday.

If the league is open to your idea can you also suggest Lions games are only 10 mins?
Quoted from TheLaw:Hey, I got a crazy idea to make a lot of Midwest Folks happy, make it a double

Well obviously.
Edit: or next year.

Fair enough -- time finally arrived to quit mentioning the Bills' Defense every week.
New Leader:
Pats D allowing 16 points a game.
Second highest points per game scoring at 27
Def pts: 1st
Off pts: 2nd
Net diff: 1st
yiiikes!

"And here are the coaches meeting in the middle of the field after the game after a well fought game. And here comes security to escort them both out."

Ah, then he can fire himself as well after the season. Guys, this is all coming up Millhouse !
Quoted from mof:How do you fire someone AFTER a future game?
What???
Is this a first?
There’s been nothing confirmed, I’m guessing it was leaked and he probably will not be coaching Thursday, if true.
Quoted from mof:How do you fire someone AFTER a future game?

Its actually quite common in sports.
Quoted from CrazyLevi:Still hard to believe the bears are a team who fired Lovie Smith after a 10-6 season.
Nice move!
That's on Lovie, he gave himself one lofty, unachievable goal: "beat Green Bay". Next!
Funny to think that at week six all the talk was about the impending Pats implosion
Sorry to once again let the NFL down on how long it would take for our season of rebuilding to return to status quo for AFC East

Shhhhh - don’t upset the ‘Numbers’ who think their Seahens are angels who would obtain a SB ring every season if not for the refs and other teams playing dirty
Quoted from Jaybird815:Now it’s being reported Pace is gone as well, turkey will be extra tasty this year!
Holy fuck!!! Just got home from work and first thing i see is this!! Had to crack open a strong beer to drink between hits of weed in celebration.
God I hope it’s true so I can add it the list of things I’m thankful for this year

Seahens is pretty lame.Try "Rainy City Bitch Pidgeons" next time.
3 games while with Tennessee
A. Peterson: 82 yards in 27 carries before being released.
3 yards a carry...
I like how Frank Gore landed on a perfect 16,000 yards. Man.

Looks to me like Tennessee is going to put another player in the HoF on the heels of Steve Hutchison and Randy Moss
