Pass rushers wearing 9? RBs wearing 7? Now I've seen everything.

Old Tom said the league would be in chaos because of it....doesn't seem too bad.

#33062 2 years ago

Ha now the PA cranking Fox on the Run before kickoff !

Why the change did the old system offend someone?

No idea why they changed it.

Playing Don't Look Back by Boston after Patriots first TD was a nice touch too

Mac Jones is just the sort of masochist that might thrive in the BB system.

Well as usual Collinsworth is inducing him in the HOF with 15 minutes to go

#33068 2 years ago

Patriots football. The hottest thing since buttered biscuits.

He does get carried away doesn't he!

#33070 2 years ago

Ok let’s see if Jones is future goat

#33071 2 years ago

If the law of averages has anything to say about it, the rest of these primetime games are gonna be shit.

#33072 2 years ago

How did Tom get the rain to stop for his final drive then turn on for Mac Jones

Almonds.

#33075 2 years ago

Poor Bill.

#33076 2 years ago

Let's pretend Tom doesn't make the skies rain for the rookie QB's final drive, and the FG gets that extra yard of less drag to make it through...

We get 55 seconds to watch Tom do his 2-minute drill and make the story even better by winning in the last second...

Bill loses either way.

the rookie QB's final drive

I thought that my girlfriend could not stand the Patriots as much as I can not stand them, I thought we both can not stand their coach, but she was pulling for them, because she is a BIG Alabama fan and she just wants to see Mac Jones do good.

I also liked watching Mac Jones play for Alabama, and it sucks that teams I want to hate keep drafting players that I like.

At least I can keep hating the Falcons, I hate their owner, and their QB.

I was a Falcon fan back when Rankin Smith owned them, he and my uncle were good friends and he was down to earth.

GO Broncos! Yeah, 3-1 now, and I seen that 1 coming.

And like the dude here always says go Bills! I have always liked them also, my best friend lives there and has been to every game forever.

(and not the confessional, but I confess while ago I read more here, than I watched the game, because football is more fun when you can hate, but with so many NFL teams getting college players I like in drafts, it is getting hard to hate any teams anymore, and it sucks).

BEST game of the day was the Redskins beating the Falcons!

I love watching a good football game, but anymore just goofing off on here and reading all of your comments is way better!

Cardinals win a VERY big away game with conviction.
Seems like they are getting 10% better each season, don't know if this year is theirs -- but they are coming.

Buffalo allowing 11 pts a game, that's light's out D.
I think historically top D's like Ravens, Bears, and Broncos -- peak D gets down to 10 or even 9 over a season, so 11 is *really* something.

Ya well we made Jalen Hurts look pretty good! How about that!

Let’s see how they do against a good offense, I think they’re a good D, but they have played against some real bad offenses. Opponents record is a combined 5-11.

#33082 2 years ago

Don;t think I've ever heard as little discussion after a team rushing for negative yards in my life.

#33083 2 years ago

Bill said they have to coach better. He looked very serious.

And what about his mullet headed son and some of the faces he was making? At times the cameras would catch him making some pretty comical and strange facial contortions
Shit I just saw them all over the web

If we look at the top 6 contenders, they ALL have rushing games, I'm glad that the run has not yet been totally outlawed in the NFL. Feels like it's getting close with all these 55-59 passing attempt games. (zzzzzzz)

In contrast, if you go back and look at Super Bowl 7 and 8 -- the Dolphins are a three-RB buzz saw, and Griese went 6 for 7, and then 7 for 11 LOL. That is the definition of total dominance -- both super bowls were crushing with opposition points in garbage time only. It would be cool to see again -- only nowadays it seems more common that the #2 RB is the QB -- which is kinda weird.

Csonka -- Kiick -- Morris was a sick 3-headed hydra beast though... like 800+ yards each man -- and an OL that opened up gaping holes.

Don't know if we'll ever see that again -- who knows maybe it's a pendulum that swings back. I sure like watching Derrick Henry do his stuff. Nobody wants to tackle him -- like Csonka.

Time for Miami to fire their General Manager. None of his picks are working out very well at this point. The two decent draft picks he made (Minkah Fitspatrick and Laremy Tunsil), he traded away. Let's face it, accumulating draft picks isn't always the answer if the General Manager is unable to select good players.

On the bright side you guys beat the Patriots pretty much every game, and your coach isn't Urban Meyer. Always look on the bright side of life.

If Stephen Ross gets his way a lot of future draft capital will be shipped off to Houston for Watson. So it could always get worse(or better)
