The offense continues to not be the problem. They are average/above average right now as far as yards and points. Much better than last season.
If this defense was anything but terrible this would be a playoff team.

So one of the many problems with running a 1970s offense where every play is a car crash is that your run blockers are just as likely to get injured as the DL. In a game like last week TN may win the war of attrition, but they're not starting from zero the following week. Eventually they meet a healthy, talented front 7 and get wrecked.

Goddamn did the Jets need that one, it has been a *rough* few years, even for the Jets. I really thought they'd blow it in the final seconds. Zach with 3-4 highlight reel bombs, but blew some easy 5-10 yard passes at the end. But that comes with the rookie QB territory. Nice to have an enjoyable football Sunday for a change.

1. I'm just waiting for handshake paid appearance deals to come to light years from now.
2. No one gives a shit about Tom Brady if he takes a record deal in 2003 to play for the browns, and Tom Brady is smart enough to know that. He took a paycut in order to further his brand (and/or win). He's done a great job at that.

I think he structured his deals so the Pats would buy him weapons.. gotta pay peeps when they're superbowl champs.. when the money for talent ran out, he left too.
