Pussy ass coaches/doctors/league ~ Tua

Quoted from Jaybird815:

Dalton out, it’s Fields time

It's been Fields time since April 29th. Seems the only two people that didn't know that were Matt Nagy and Andy Dalton.

And jandre95. I look forward to the Browns vs Fields.

Benching Randy will end up being the worst mistake Chicago has ever made.

Basically tanking already.

Way worse than drafting Trubisky over Mahomes and Watson (RIP). This is outrageous!

#32658 2 years ago

Doesn't seem like a good year to be tanking unless you want to totally blow for Thibodeaux.Justin Fields will probably have more "cringeworthy" plays than "wow" ones until the game speeds up for him and his painfully slow windup and release.

Whatever happened to letting these players develop?

Why not grab an experienced QB who needs a jerb?

Back in my day, we sat on a bench for 2-3 years and we liked it!

#32662 2 years ago

They should get Nam Cewton up there.

I thought they had SB MVP on the team?

They have Foles, too.

super bowl mvp Foles??? What am I missing here, he's injured?

He costs way too much money to throw out there all willy-nilly.

Seriously though, I'm not sure why anyone is surprised. Fields has looked pretty good, and dalton got hurt. It's basically the perfect scenario for the bears that dalton can't(?) go this week. It allows them to see what fields has without officially naming him the starter. If he plays well they never look back. If he lays an egg, he's still learning, and can hold the surface tablet ultra for a while.

Exactly, it’s sounding like Dalton will be out a few weeks, though. Pretty bad bone bruise.

Gotta mask up for tonight’s game LOL!

Both these teams have been much better than anticipated. Carolina’s D appears to be legit and Darnold looks much better now that he’s away from the Jets, shocking.

Houston HC has these guys playing hard, but taking that penalty to then punt is an absolute WTF? moment. I hope it’s a good game.

Yeah….I don’t get the call either on that punt. They are doing much better than expected for sure. I will give them credit for that.

100% team vaxx rate and Antonio Brown has covid. Crazy.

Not really

#32678 2 years ago

Correct. Not at all crazy for reasons we’ve discussed a bazillion times over in the COVID thread.

Check it out and this will seem less crazy.

#32679 2 years ago

Was it confirmed covid for AB? I read 2 neg tests 24 hours apart before sunday and he could play so I assumed he was just a close contact of a positive.

He’s vaccinated, if not there’s a mandatory 10 day quarantine.

Nah this thread satisfies my cravings for crazy.

Let's go Panthers!

#32682 2 years ago

That place is completely empty

#32683 2 years ago

I'm rooting for the Panthers. I like CMC as a player, and I have them on my fantasy football defense

Quoted from Jaybird815:

Why should any Texans fans go….the team is a mess. The Watson situation needs to get resolved so they can get rid of his ass. The team is held hostage until his legal stuff gets sorted out. Pretty sure the NFL told the Texans you cannot play him. But at the same time the NFL doesn’t have the balls to suspend him. I get they don’t want to make a mistake and suspend him until there is a decision from the court but in this case and the nature of it they should have already taken action. Where there is smoke there is fire. In this case it’s not like 1 or 2 people have filed suits/charges….there is over 20 people. Can’t wait to see how it all plays out.

#32686 2 years ago

Texans are not the dumpster fire they are supposed to be…

I think most were expecting them to tank but they are playing tough. They have NOTHING to lose so they going all out.

And yet I’m not completely unentertained

Maybe it’s because I’m also trying to put a desk fan back together

How long before Josh Gordon gets suspended again?

#32695 2 years ago

Three games in and Christian McCaffery is injured. That seems about right.

Ok I hate Thursday Night Football

Remember he was drinking before games

Quoted from jandrea95:

Wow, I legit didnt know that. That is pretty terrible to be honest. I only ever heard about the weed, but had no idea about the other issues, sad

Yep he's a sad sack alright

Quoted from TheLaw:

Well shit, your memory is much better than mine, at least while posting on pinside

Totally forgot that, alcohol way worse than weed, especially if you are so dependent on it you drink before games. I understand I just described the entire NFL fan base, but its a bit different for a world class athlete to drink before he performs, must have some real demons going on to justify that.

Whole life is sad tale fo sho. Easy for people to blame him with all the talent but most of us had a decent upbringing and didn't have to go thru nightmarish shit.

For sure, as an NFL fan I am just greedy and wanted to see him use his talent on the field. If there is one thing ive learned growing up its that I dont have a clue what any other person is going through.

I also wanna see the man make some money for his efforts, hes put them in for sure.
