Quoted from ralphwiggum:

That's how I felt forever watching many years of shitty Buccaneers football. I wanted nothing more than to watch Errict Rhett win a ring somewhere else, because the dude ran his ass off every single play.
Can't say the same for Trent Dilfer though... everytime I watch that idiot start his analysis with "as a superbowl winning qb" I pee a little bit and punch a baby.

My god do I hate Dilfer, such a tool.

He really is...... speaking of Bucaneers QBs... I read a factoid today that Tom Brady is the first QB in team history to sign a 2nd contract.... crazy

Gonna need vicjw66 to confirm or deny this interesting fact.

Has he been allowed to return from NFL purgatory?

I think he and dirtbag are in some pseudo NFL thread griefing eachother.

Wow. Samuel to the WFT. Huge get for them. Making some nice moves.

Is Riveras master plan to get the old Panthers band back together in Washington?

That’s a nice 1-2 with McLaurin

Patrick Peterson to the Vikings, not looking forward to that twice a year

#30860 3 years ago
Quoted from Jaybird815:Patrick Peterson to the Vikings, not looking forward to that twice a year

He's more likely to get picked on than be feared at this stage of his career

Bengals have an offer in for Kenny Golladay, but its most likely a really bad offer and he will end up in New York.

#30862 3 years ago

I’m glad to hear that Veach has signed another OL Kyle Long. After releasing Fisher & Schwartz, u knew that his main priority was to get much needed protection for Mahomes.

Haha.

Oh dear....Deshaun Watson is being sued by two masseuses.

So what’re we thinking, Kraft’s massage lawyers get him off and Watson ends up in Foxboro next year?

Seems like he would make a pretty scary safety even if he loses (or lost) a step.

"The Bengals have offered Kenny Golladay a one-year, prove-it type of deal, per sources."

Ummm....OK

#30869 3 years ago

Trubisky signing with the Bills!

I miss him already..

Civil cases shouldn't matter much

Don't you worry, I think you'll be mighty happy with the Red Rocket.

#30871 3 years ago

Golladay has met with the Bears, he is a Chicago guy. My guess is that if they do sign him they would trade Robinson.

Good point, don't want a bunch of good players on the team!

Robinson has said he won’t sign the franchise tag, it’s a good possibility that they trade him either way.

Quoted from Jaybird815:

Robinson has said he won’t sign the franchise tag,...

Ah got it, I hadn't seen that.

#30875 3 years ago

Hoping the Bengals can snag Kenny G. I bet we know tonight or tomorrow.

#30876 3 years ago

The WR market has been extremely slow so far.

#30877 3 years ago

Bungels over NYG is a long shot.
EDIT: Unless NYG only offers him one year as well

#30878 3 years ago
Quoted from TheLaw:

Bungels over NYG is a long shot.

I don’t see how anyone can definitively say one is more likely than the other.

The WR market has been slow because all these non #1 WRs want #1 money and no one wants to give it to them.

#30879 3 years ago
Quoted from TheLaw:

It would be silly for any free agent to take anything past 2022 with the massive TV deal looming.

#30880 3 years ago
Quoted from chuckwurt:

Very unlikely a WR would accept a 1 year deal over a multi year deal which would obviously include a big signing bonus.

Quoted from chuckwurt:

What? Do you think no FAs have signed for more than 1 year? Do you think players don't rework their contracts at will?

Quoted from Jaybird815:

Robinson has said he won’t sign the franchise tag,

He'd apparently be a fool not to?

It’s much more common to sign a new deal than rework an existing one.

#30882 3 years ago

Maybe players will get a little happier taking 1 year deals with Dak getting paid the way he did?
It's possible; Will Fuller's fragile self took a 1 year.

#30883 3 years ago

And I think with how Cousins gamed the system, others will look to do the same strategically.

Also heard that the Giants have no 2020 cap so they would have to severely backload any deal they offered.

Bears cut Kyle Fuller, frees up $11 million, they’re up to something.

#30888 3 years ago

I'd like GB to land Fuller. I think they made a run at him as a RFA but Chicago matched.

They also apparently gave Hicks the green light to seek a trade..?

It's the Russel Wilson fantasy!

I read that Hicks and Mack were offered in the Wilson trade, I’m guessing with Fuller gone, they’ll keep Hicks. At least I hope they do.

I’ll settle for Golladay

Vic Fangio will make a hard push for Kyle Fuller for sure.Got to be the last year for the Bears front office.Unreal.

With all that talent in Sea, didn’t we both get bounced in the 1st rd?

#30894 3 years ago

Sea has a qb a couple of wr some aging lbs and a safety. And 3 draft picks. Not too rosy.I was talking Kyle Fuller to the broncos.

#30895 3 years ago

Not gonna lie - it's a nothing signing of a metric talented yet underwhelming player but I am gonna find it easy to cheer for Breshad Perriman in Detroit

Pretty cool. I bet he sells a lot of jerseys. I've always been a fan, but like Al Davis I'm a sucker for speed, regardless of production.

3m 1yr. Solid signing.

No telling what number he will ask for but 80 is available, just sayin.....

Randy Bullock to Detroit lions. I say one of the more positive moves the Bengals have done thus far, wish they wanted Bobby Hart too.

They got rid of captain fair catch Alex Erickson too.
