lopsided matchups are boring no matter the team that wins.

False statement

IMHO.

Yep, 4 quarters, remember when Frank Reich led the bills back to a playoff win against the Oilers with Warren Moon, that game was "done" at halftime.

#3009 5 years ago

Hey, that Julius Peppers is pretty good.

#3010 5 years ago

Vikes better put Reich in, stat!

#3011 5 years ago

Forcing Ponder to throw the ball, yup, Vikes are gonna get killed. I bet Nance and Simms are stoked for getting all these close match-ups.

Does Greg Jennings still play football?

I think he is in the CFL now for a team called the Vikings?

Heroes and Zeros update:

Now only 2 undefeated teams left in the NFL this season.
Az Cardinals in NFC West
Bengals in AFC North

Which of these two teams can keep their winning streak going?

Both Bengals and Cardinals having a great season so far, but just to be fair, I'll mention that both of these two teams had a bye week last week.
Can't lose if your not even on the field (assuming no major NFL rules violation causing a forfeit of a recent win pops up during the week).

There are now only 2 teams that are winless thus far this season.
Jax Jags in AFC South
Raiders in AFC West

Wonder if the Jags will stay comfy down in the Losers bracket?
Steelers play at Jax this Sunday.
Oakland Raiders have a bye week, so they won't be winning this weekend.

Congrats to the TB Bucs for fighting hard to squeak out a victory on the road last weekend over the Steelers 27 to 24.

I'm a fan of coarse but I believe the Bengals will continue to win this week in New England. WHO DEY!!!!!!!

#3019 5 years ago

Another 300+ game for Andy.
Look out for the Dark Horse.

#3020 5 years ago

How 'bout them Cowboys!

4-1 baby!

#3021 5 years ago

jets game a blowout. can't they switch to kc/sf game?

#3022 5 years ago

Heart breaker in New Orleans today. So close to being the second huge upset in a row for the Bucs. On the bright side, at least they were never down 56-0.

#3023 5 years ago

Must be a curious feeling being a fan of an actual NFL team. Color me jealous!

#3024 5 years ago

Tough day at Indianapolis if you are a Ravens fan.

Come on bengals. Let's get this monkey of your backs.

#3027 5 years ago

Lions and Bears down in flames today. LOL!

ESPN had a poll friday, who do you think will win the NFC North, every state in america picked the Packers except Michigan. Even Illinois picked the Pack! Good stuff.

#3028 5 years ago

Well the Bengals sure shit the bed last night. Just glad there were no major injuries.

Quoted from RobT:

4-1 baby!

Yeah, pretty surprising! Despite all the injuries the Chargers are also 4-1 and seem to be playing better every week. The defense kept the Jets offense from even crossing the 50 yard line until garbage time late in the game. For being a skeptical long time fan, it is even hard for me not to believe. We'll have to wait and see how they handle the Broncos in upcoming weeks.

#3030 5 years ago

It's amazing the Cowboys haven't bailed on the run yet. It's been working so well. I'm not convinced that is the real Jason Garrett

#3031 5 years ago

Seadrops in Washington tonight time to plunk my arse down go hawks 3 and 1 pleeeease!!!

#3032 5 years ago

Seahawks will have to play sharper than that to beat Dallas next week!
Ugly win! But a win nevertheless.

I don't always bet on football, but I may have to take Dallas and the points. Wait a minute, are they giving points?

#3034 5 years ago

The offensive line should never be off for this length of time again! Was like they had to learn the infraction rules all over again! UGLY! Bring on Dallas will be a great game i'm sure.

#3035 5 years ago

You have to admit though that Russell Wilson is shaping up to to be a quarterback ranked up with the great ones!
The way he makes chicken soup from chicken shit is sure fun to watch!

Yeah, Seahawks didn't make the game easy, but holy cow, Russell Wilson was absolutely amazing in that game, and had more to do with them winning than anyone else.

#3037 5 years ago

Russell Wilson is turning into a great QB and leader. The Seahawks better take advantage of their low salaried players while they can. If he keeps this up, Wilson will deserve $20 Mil + when his payday is due.

#3038 5 years ago

Nice bounce back win by the Pats against a great opponent. O-line showing signs of turning things around, they still have a long way to go and a tough divisional match up next week.

#3039 5 years ago

Just when I thought the AFC East was up for grabs the Pats made a statement against the Bangles.

#3040 5 years ago

Damn the Colts kicker is awesome. Why even bother kicking a normal kickoff anymore?

#3041 5 years ago

24-0 at end of first quarter. Wow

#3042 5 years ago

another blow out thursday

#3043 5 years ago

24-14 just like that.

Alright flank. It's game on! I just hope my guys can keep up with yours. These teams don't meet very often.

I'm watching this game (Packers-Dolphins) on Fox down here in south Louisiana. Usually Saints games are on at Noon to 3pm game on Fox on Sundays, but Saints have a bye week, so this is working out great today. Good game already and only in 1st Q.
