Quoted from TheLaw:

Well hold on now.. he was a "better call player " as we should here from old Texas Whiskey anytime now....

I mean I appreciate the argument. I think he was a pretty good QB, I just think if he's going to get into the HOF he should have to pay $50 like everyone else.

Quoted from TheLaw:

I'd like to see where Romo ranks against other Qbs; The first one that popped in my mind is Jeff Garcia.

Vinny Testaverde, Trent Green, maybe Brad Johnson?

PFR has his most similar players Stafford. Brunell, Staubach

His career value metric is a 46, and the average HOF QB is 101.

He's a good study because if he gets in I think they'll need changes to the PFR formula, possibly adding significant value for post retirement visibility or additional points for playing for a large market team.

At least one of them won a Super Bowl. Kinda strange that it was his last game in Tampa. Could history repeat itself today?

#30205 3 years ago

I think the Chiefs pull it off today. Brady can nickel and dime it down the field, but has never been an avid deep ball thrower. Mahomes can do that, and can tack up points much quicker.

Although Tampa’s D is coming into this game ranked pretty damn well.

Brady been deep throwing it with aplomb all through the playoffs!!! So not sure where that comes from.

I think Bucs take it. Brady goes out like he came in upset special preventing a high powered offense from repeating as super bowl champs.

Also gotta wonder if Reid isn’t a little distracted by the continuing horror show that is his family life.

Hey congrats to

Alex Smith: comeback player of the year

Chase Young: defensive rookie of the year!

Alex, enjoy your retirement. Should be able to get a tv gig.

Chase: stay healthy and prosper!

Put up your $$ then.

$50 straight up. No spread.

#30209 3 years ago

OK I'm up and saking the cobwebs off getting ready for the big one today.

It's gonna be tough, but I think Antonio Brown can juuust squeak by Le'veon Bell for the ring!

#30210 3 years ago

Anyone know a legit online betting site that has parlays?

#30213 3 years ago

weather is still perfect today.

***if*** the tarp team did their job we should have a solid footing night game in the low 60s.

T minus 3 hours, Houston

#30214 3 years ago

Not that every super bowl shouldn't be, but this really should be a great game. Both teams are hot as they can be.

Thinking of our old friend Who-Dey today.

A little pet peeve.

I am sick of seeing all the ads with super bowl "54":

Super Bowl: L I V (where the I is the trophy) -- it's not 54 it's 55... L V

OK waht are the odds on Brady finally scoring that 1q TD?

#30224 3 years ago

How was that not grounding by Mahomes?

(Im in bias "the team im cheering for can do no wrong mode")

I was thinking the same thing.

#30226 3 years ago

Must have run out of the box but it looked like grounding to me

#30227 3 years ago

For all you old guys, that guy in the sesame street spot played Jefferson in Hamilton. (My wife told me)

#30228 3 years ago

Decide for yourself, but as a Chefs fan there is clearly an eligible receiver in the area:

I agree with mof, the LIV logo is inexcusable

#30232 3 years ago

WOW, dropped it, but Mahomes threw a fucking DIME. Jesus he is amazing.

I was goofing on him because I think you are silly as hell, but my wife totally agrees with you guys, haha.

Any of you degenerates do anything nutty like parlay prop bets?

No parley, got Fournette with over 3.5 receptions

#30241 3 years ago

No sideline view on that??? Looked like he probably broke to me, but no good look at it.

#30243 3 years ago

2 straight runs? Lol

I disagree with Evans out of bounds there. In Madden I would have hit "O" to do a spin move. I would have scored there.

#30245 3 years ago

My girls really indifferent about the female ref, for the record. Way more inspired by girls in battlebots.

Thats awesome about your girls, haha. I could care less either way, I just hate Romo saying stupid shit like "shes talented too". On what planet was that comment necessary?

#30247 3 years ago

Brady gets a short field, Chiefs not looking very good right now.

#30248 3 years ago

Mistake to not have Fournette in at goal line. We'll see if that happens again

Way more impressed with that 11 year old battlebots kid!
