So Raiders are going with Mariota for the rest of the season? Herbert looks to be the real deal excited for the Bolts. Bengals as you know lost our QB due to our dumb ass HC. I'm hopeful he'll be able to come back.
Quoted from Deaconblooze:Mariota has looked to give a bit of a spark, but keep in mind this defense scouted against Carr.
So the backup QB is doing so well because the Charger’s D scouted against Carr? That’s a good one...

When you prep for a pocket QB and get tossed a running QB midgame, yeah, I think that throws a bit of a wrench into the gameplan. Unless you think all those days of prep before a game don't matter.

I don't disagree with you, but I don't think that's the main reason he looked so good. Check this out...

All you Washington Football Team fans have to be a little concerned as I am.
Not only is starting FS Deshazor Everett done for the season, mediocre vet Alex Smith is out this week as well. I can only assume Antonio Gibson isn't playing either.
So it's ride or die with (shudder) Dwayne Haskins on Sunday. As long as he can avoid chucking INTs I'd say we have a chance to beat the Seahawks. Haskins has made some good throws this season but his bad throws are B-A-D BAD. Awful. Hopefully he's learned something on the bench but based on his play vs. the 49ers it's not promising.
Good news is I don't think we need this one. 8-8 should seal the division.
Clemson dominated Notre Dame tonight, looks like the Jets are going to get something special in Trevor Lawrence with the first pick.
Quoted from guss:Go Bills 11-3
Man the Bills played a good game today and Josh was on fire throwing darts

Agreed.Jacksonville should take homegrown Kyle Trask 2nd.
Quoted from CrazyLevi:Total forgot there was football today!
Enjoy, I’m off to band practice
Still in the Clemson Band, that’s kool!

AFC EAST CHAMPS!
May this be the first of many playoffs-free years to come for Foxborough.
It is early in the game, but having watched Nick Mullens for a few games now, I have to say this kid is pretty darn good. If you are a 49ers fan, you gotta be stoked.
Quoted from CrazyLevi:Mullens is Just a Guy.
Career backup.
Nope he is the future there. Will bring them back to the super bowl. Just like Dwayne.
The niners offense is designed to work with anyone installed at QB. That's why they've been successful, even with Jimmy G.
Dallas not missing Zeke at all today. Overpaid, fumbles and not tough enough on 3rams and short. Glad to see Miami beating Pats.
Quoted from Deaconblooze:Live look at the NFC East race[quoted image]
Ahh it ain’t that bad. Nfc East been wining games lately.
I had today penciled in as a loss so not surprised. As usual the defense woke up and kept it close
With Seattle and even Haskins somehow played a decent second half.
Just glad to survive this week with no injuries and live to fight another week vs. the panthers. Hopefully get Alex smith and Antonio Gibson back.

Agreed. If I were in the Cowboys front office, I would be looking into contract cutting.

Logan Thomas absolutely went off today.
The Redskins seem to keep finding diamonds in the rough.

Don’t be so sure. It looks like we are getting Jared Gofful today.
Quoted from Daditude:Agreed. If I were in the Cowboys front office, I would be looking into contract cutting.
Can they just cut him loose?
Probably
A couple seasons before it’s not a brutal cap hit.
Quoted from Erik:If NYJ can pull off the upset would Jax sneak ahead for the top pick?
So the Jets are losing by winning? That is a totally Jets thing to do...
Ridiculous that the Rams lost at home to that team. Goff in consistently inconsistent. Every 3rd game or so he is just awful. Darnold might have played himself into being stuck with the Jets. He would have been much better off getting traded.
In case anyone is wondering, Jags have tiebreaker due to easier SOS. They get Trevor Lawrence. If I was a Jets fan, I would be crying right now.
Edit: beat me to it.

The jets dont win often, but when they do, it sets their franchise back 10 years

I can really understand wanting 1st pick in draft but horrible to go 0-16. But then again getting 1st pick is hard to potentially miss out on so wonder if Jets are following the old cliche about can't even win at the right time.
Quoted from vicjw66:If I was a Jets fan, I would be crying right now.
Nah, Jets fans started crying back in September....pretty sure they are all cried out. Still trying to figure out when ownership is going to break free of Gase's Stockholm Syndrome.

Let's not get distracted from the fact that the LA Rams just lost to the Jets.
Had a feeling the Rams would sleepwalk today, and they did. Threw away the win with that holding call that negated the go-ahead (with PAT) TD. Now those folks who said "They're coming on strong and could go all the way" can look for something else to fantasize about. Just like the USC fans with dreams of making the CFB playoffs a few days ago.
Looks like the Saints will lose today. Big news for the Chiefs. Edwards-Helaire out with a major leg injury.
