Quoted from Erik:Allen Robinson with the 36th garbage time td of his career
One man’s garbage is another man’s treasure. That TD probably saved Rodgers from getting benched due to lack of competition.

Quoted from mcluvin:So would Mahomes have reached his current level of play if the Bears actually drafted him?
Ha, God no.
Quoted from vicjw66:I can’t imagine. Sure the weather is awful, but hey, there’s nowhere to go and nothing to do, so it’s a moot point.
Maybe worse than living in green bay is living in cincinnati(or god forbid neighboring villages). The Simpsons just did an episode on cincinnatti. They’re famous for some gawdawful concoction involving spaghetti and chilli. Ugh, disgusting.

My mortgage is probably less than your property taxes, so I can live with the watery chili.
Quoted from RWH:Village people and most of US love that chili!
I ordered skyline chili once on a road trip, not knowing what it was. When it arrived I thought wtf, this is chili?
But I ate it, and it was good! I almost finished the ginormous serving they brought me. If I am ever in that part of the world again I will definitely try it again!
Quoted from vicjw66:Maybe worse than living in green bay is living in cincinnati...
Cincy is a lot like other places; online most residents can make it seem unfuckingbearable, but I went there once and everyone was super nice and I had a great time.
Green Bay I've never been to...but I've always assumed it's a lot like where I live due to size/location...less College students & more lake-ish of course.
Quoted from CrazyLevi:I like skyline chili. Tasty.
Absolutely. Thanks to Vic for the lunch suggestion.

Damn you, now I want chili too!
Quoted from fosaisu:Is this thread devolving into Vic doing hometown trash talk? Do Denver next!
Well I'm detecting a high level of snow in Denver so I'm guessing it wont end well!
Quoted from jandrea95:Absolutely. Thanks to Vic for the lunch suggestion.

Hollywood Vic always slings the smack!

Im with you, but the food was in my belly.
Quoted from RojerLockless:How bout them Raiders huh? lol WTF happened there? A historic collapse.
They did that just to make JohnnyPinball007 feel bad!

It’s all in good fun. It’s not like people on here never trash where you and I live. Remember the Ca wildfire thread?

Denver is not really worth my time and effort. I hear it’s not bad 2 months out of the year, though.
A lot of days with NFL games coming up, tonight, Wednesday night, all day Sunday, doubleheader next Monday night and next Tuesday night. I love it!
Quoted from Daditude:Jalen Hurts for 1 play? Interesting...
I guess they just didn’t like the look of that completion so they brought wentz back in.
Since it’s Philly will they be piping in boos all night?
Ravens game at 3:40 Wednesday !
Pretty funny it’s most likely going to be NYG and WFT in the driver seat for the NFC East after tonight.

I'm cool with people writing off WI for the most part. Part of what makes it great is the low cost of living and population density. I work in the heart of the 2nd biggest city (Madison) and have a commute of about 25-30 minutes. We have a bustling pinball scene in the last 5 or so years, and that's all of the major cities in WI, not just Madison. World class golf courses, major sports teams, tons of festivals, great concert venues, breweries, and recreational opportunities aplenty.
Winters can be pretty shitty if you don't have any cold weather hobbies. I feel like I made the most of our summer this year, and I'm pretty ready to hunker down, watch football, eat chili, and focus on my indoor hobbies (I have a lot of pinball to shop).
Know what else helps with winter? Airports. Madison's is 10 minutes from my house, and I can show up about an hour before my flight and still have time to snag a beer before boarding. When my kids are grown I'll probably do what my parents do now - take off the week after xmas and find a warm place with cheap golf to hang out until April. For now, I'm fine with watching my kids experience all of the seasons, they all love playing in the snow. Plus, raising them in this climate keeps them from becoming pussies.
On Wisconsin!

Anybody else pumped for WAF?
Wednesday afternoon football! Will make for decent background noise to wind down the workday.
I have a friend that works for a marketing firm that has multiple sets of season tickets at every NFL stadium and he said hands down the hardest to give away are the Jaguars and they are the best tickets they have (50 yd line)
Freebies so far for me have been Detroit, Philly, Baltimore, and Washington. Have had to turn down Bills, Giants, Chiefs, Cowboys and Titans since he doesn't know if tickets are unclaimed and available until Thursday of game week.
Random notes:
Of the team provided tickets, Dallas offers the worst seating and Jacksonville the best
Green Bay, Pittsburgh and New England are impossible to get as they haven't been 'unclaimed' in years

Ha
Give it a season on those New England tickets. THe rats can't flee that sinking bandwagon fast enough.

Patriots fans:
Screenshot_20201202-112338~2 (resized).pngThe worst part about Pats fans is that they didn't even seem to enjoy their success. They spent all of their time being pissed off at everyone else for disliking their team. What a waste!
So are they going to actually play this game today? They pretty much have to or else’s that is a big domino toppling over...

Don't see anyway they wouldn't...they're putting their dicks down this week
Which team in the remaining schedule will beat the Steelers?
https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/teams/PIT/pittsburgh-steelers/schedule/
Or will the Steelers not lose until in the play-offs, or AFC Championship game, or in the Super Bowl?
Buffalo or Indy seem like the only legitimate teams left on the regular season schedule that might be able to hand them a loss. It would be pretty great to see it come down to week 17 @ Cle...
