Nick Foles to the Bears, not sure how I feel about it at the moment.

Bad. That's how you should feel.

He won’t be their opening game starter, but Trubustsky will be on a very short leash.

Big ass amount of monies for 2 qbs; one that sucks and the other that can't stay healthy

Trubisky’s cheap for a QB, still on his rookie deal, but still shouldn’t be needing QB insurance for a 2nd overall pick, and Foles contract has been restructured to make it a bit more palatable.

Oh duh, yep I read it wrong.

Bears D could be pretty dominant with the addition of Robert Quinn.

Quoted from CrazyLevi:

His "Unitas to the CHargers" or "Namath to the Rams" moment.
Come on man. Just another sucker who doesn't know when it's time to say goodbye.

So when is it too early, or late, so think the whole season will be cancelled and Brady will end up never playing for them?

It’s going to be interesting for sure, I hope they’ll play, but not overly optimistic at this point.

Most won't be able to afford tickets if they do.

I think we are looking at a short season where official games begin in October or even November.

I could be seriously optimistic with that but it’s what I’ve been thinking.

#21763 4 years ago

Season is starting Sep 10th, write it down!

There's no way of knowing. I had some ESPN shows recorded from last week, I was just wathcing them yesterday and with the info they had it seems like it took place years ago. "They're going to play the whole NCAA tournament with no fans, how horrible. I hope nothing else gets cancelled."
Shit is moving so quick now.

Sean Payton: first NFL victim of the Chinese virus/hoax/media lie that is 2020.

Starting to think November is optimistic. No NFL in 2020. I'm starting to fear we lose an NFL owner or two over this. Many are in their 80s and 90s.

I think this is real and far from a hoax. I also think a LOT can change in 6 months. As inefficient as our government can be, they want business as usual as much as we do.

edit - not trying to argue my dude , I just truly dont see this lasting till the end of the year. Obviously, I have nothing to back this up other than my faith that when backed into a corner, we tend to get out quickly. I certainly could be way off base, but I think we both want you to be wrong in thinking it could drag out that long. We all lose if you are correct, haha.

I think I understand why you made a religion of believing the lies and the bullshit. You aren’t able to cope with reality so you’ve come up with a more palatable replacement.

God, I’d love to Live in your positive, delusional brain.

C mon guys, this thread should be a sanctuary, like Sundays have been my whole life, times are stressful now so maybe cut everybody some slack, we don’t know everyone’s current situation.

Good point.

This guy decided to drag a beef from another thread over here, which is terrible etiquette!

I hate crossbeefers.

Can we get back to talking about how big of a bust tiny fingers is going to be?

Will Todd Gurley get picked up?

C'mon you know "Little Joe" is going to bag him a Bear this season.

Haha Bears D might end his season, Quinn next to Mack is going to be pretty lethal.

Read where the NFL is holding up the signing of some FA due to virus concerns in traveling. They can't sign until they get a clear physical and meet with team. Sucks!!!

#21779 4 years ago

Gurley is still only 25!

It’s amazing how fast RBs get tossed aside in this league. Clay Mathews released also. Does he have anything left in the tank?

#21780 4 years ago

He didn't have great year last season but I don't know how much of that was his front line.

#21781 4 years ago

If we don't have a season will they keep the same draft order for 2021? Cincy with Burrow and Lawrence

Wow. I doubt it. But who knows.

Maybe more of a lottery system.

I don't know how that would work, maybe a lottery as Levi suggested but it is one hell of a good question.

Gurleys knees are shot, he’s still solid but probably not an every down back anymore

Gordon Ramsay would absolutely throw shit for this.

#21786 4 years ago

Gurley to Falcons huh
Might as well, 1 yr deal

#21787 4 years ago

Emmanuel Sanders is going to the Saints on a 2 year, 16 million dollar deal

#21788 4 years ago

I'd still be interested in Anderson or Perriman for the right price. Otherwise, the WR market is thinning out.

#21789 4 years ago

Bengals making some serious waves in free agency, I love it!!! Its going to be a great year in Who Dey land this year looks like!

#21790 4 years ago

They are certainly making some changes in our secondary which is fantastic, we may finally get rid of Kirkpatrick!!!

Feels so good! They must have taken notes from the Reds.

2-14 to 14-2 in one years time?

#21793 4 years ago
Quoted from Who-Dey:

2-14 to 14-2 in one years time?

Haha, i dont know about that, but if Green and the line stay healthy it certainly can be a playoff team. Bengals were beyond horrible last year, injuries were a huge part of it, and an instant upgrade @ QB isnt going to hurt. The defense looks much better as well obviously.

I do see the Bengals easily ahead of the Steelers this year. On paper the Browns are scary, but they are the browns. Ravens? Hard to say, I am unsure if they got exposed in the playoffs, but they still seem like the team to beat in the AFC North, but I think their success is short lived, and I hope Jackson ends up getting a huge contract before his inevitable decline.

Basically, long term goals, but Burrow and healthy veterans put the Bengals in an instantly good position.

#21794 4 years ago

Also, not to change the topic, but I am glad MLB will have a short season. I dont think many disagree 162 games is obnoxious.

You should lay some money down, o/u in Vegas is 5 wins for Cincinnati.

#21796 4 years ago

Cincy should be a much better team this season (if there is a season) and I look forward to see how the FA and simple cuts in our lineup improves our team as a whole!

SOB I just read an article from SB saying it looks as if the Bengals are keeping Kirkpatrick! Damn that guy is a total piece of sh*t that they need to drop. Drop him and keep the cap space for other FA pickups or trade him for a towel boy or laundry man.

#21798 4 years ago

Holy shit . Sounds like you guys already have the parade route picked out too? Just to clarify.. you're talking about the same Bengals that have not won a playoff game since 19fukkin90?!

Yep same ones that went to the SB twice and didn't win. Welcome to the Jungle Brother!

This is the real reason I'm hoping the season doesn't miss anytime; the weekly check in from Bengals fans after their 14 loses.

Going to be better than the Browns last year.
