Yeah, I think a lot of people thought the game was over at that point. Or at least it should have been before Shanahan decided to go back to passing.

I don’t mind single celebrations, or two people, but I don’t need the entire fucking team running down to the end zone to pose. But then again, it’s all about the show and the notoriety to these guys anymore...not about playing football.

Wtf are you going on about? A play clock violation IS A PLAY CLOCK VIOLATION. It’s a stoppage of the clock and a 5 yard penalty. It’s not a judgement call. It’s not voluntary. It’s not debatable. Are you arguing that it wasn’t a play clock violation, and therefore an automatic penalty?

And with under two minutes it’s REVIEWABLE!

The only call I can remember was the one where SF was not penalized on a late snap. They got a break, except they didn't execute the play. To say they should have been penalized so the play didn't happen? Well that's getting into some quantum territory to try to explain a loss.

Teams get an extra half-second on the play clock all the time.

A penalty against the 49ers. The only reason you or anyone are passionate about the call is because they would have had their mistake taken away and given a do-over. It's not a call for precision -- it's a self serving wish for erasing a huge play.

It's calling a spade a spade. The penalty is only significant because the 49ers blew it in that play. Just own it.
