Henry is the real Beast Mode. Guy’s unstoppable.

#19802 4 years ago

And now he throws a touchdown? What!!!!

#19803 4 years ago

Raise your hand if you picked the Ravens to win this game.

Then do us all a favor and never prognosticate again.

#19804 4 years ago

Congrats to the Titans! Big win. Awesome.
Is it ok for me to call it a win even though it's still only the 3rd Q?

I took Titans and the points, Niners (-7), tomorrow I have Texans (+10), and GB (-4)

#19806 4 years ago

The Ravens were built all season long around running the football. Ingram must be less than 100 percent with the calf issue. Lamar being forced to drop back and throw all game has never been their strength. Already multiple turnovers in the passing game for the Ravens.

#19807 4 years ago

Someone has to put the Ravens out of their unexpected misery.

#19808 4 years ago

Do we still want to crown Lamar Jackson? I just hope he doesn't start doing Progressive commercials. Then he will become a REAL piece of shit.

Going to the game tomoro deacon?

#19811 4 years ago

Couldn’t be happier. I hate the Ravens and their suck-ass hometown too.

What I do love is this Vrabel fact:
In March 2011, Vrabel was arrested and charged with a Class D felony for theft at an Indiana casino. According to reports from Kansas City television station KMBC and ProFootballTalk.com, the incident involved eight bottles of beer at a deli. Vrabel was released after posting a $600 bond.

Nope. I considered it, but it was logistically challenging for me for this one. How about you?

Ya, we’ll be there unless somebody buys our tics on ticketmaster tonight.

Nice! Take Rodgers' orders, make sure you have some adult beverages and get loud!

This was a triumph!   I'm making a note here: HUGE SUCCESS. It's hard to overstate my satisfaction.

Congrats! It must feel surreal based on expectations.

Mark Ingram being hobbled certainly didn’t help the Ravens cause nor did the dropped passes. He was trying to loosen up his calf muscle with a Theragun. After I injured my back I invested in one. I say invested because they are crazy expensive at $599 but it helps me get through the day. There are cheap knock offs but why mess with them.

I'm taking the Ravens next but I was wondering if I'm a lone in thinking it could be an upset? Titans are peeking and that makes me nervous.

Damn fell asleep and woke up to my upset prediction coming true...…...there goes half my SB prediction.

I told you Baltomore wasnt playoff worthy RW! Any team that Cleveland beats is NOT a playoff team trust me! Man that QB they got looked like a deer in the headlights the whole damn game.

Baltimore pulled a classic Dungy/Manning Colts fiasco. Cruise to the number 1 seed. Rest your players week 17 and take 3 weeks off then get smoked at home in the divisional round. 3 weeks is too much time off.

Yeah I believe it just takes away all the momentum and timing you've spent all season building for the moment. I'm kinda with o-din in so much as I wish they'd do away with byes during playoffs. I've heard the argument that #1 seeds deserve it for all the hard work they've done to get there but, fact is they all work hard to get there.

I agree. If it takes more than a week for a 20-30 year old athlete to rest up then theres something else wrong with them anyways.

Will the Packers given what the Ravens did let me down today also? I had a feeling about that damn Ravens game...…….

This is true, the time the Colts won the Super Bowl we had to play thru. And it was great winning with defense and a ground game in the rain!

I think , hope, you are all lookin past seattle. If you look at team stats, they are a near equal. Seattle has been great on the road this year and lynch is only going to get better. I look for Metcalf to have a huge day. GO HAWKS!!

#19832 4 years ago

The big question is will the real Houston Texans show up today?

If the Texans play to their potential they can beat anybody. Their inconsistent play from week to week has not changed. Average to lousy coaching is the biggest weakness of the Texans.

KC May choke as the coach has a history of coming up short in the playoffs. Can’t wait to see how this plays out.

#19833 4 years ago

Browns hire Kevin Stefanski (MN OC) to be HC.

Quoted from Deaconblooze:

He was a finalist last season when Dorsey got all cute and hired an "outside the box" guy. It blew up and he lost his job as a result.

I'm not incredibly happy with the hire but the silver lining is Stefanski is ready to be a HC. Kitchens wasn't.

#19835 4 years ago

He appears to be a decent play caller and has been QB coach before amongst other positions, wish him well.

I'm super excited about the Houston/KC game. Their last matchup was fantastic. I'm sticking with Houston in a squeaker (and my documented prognostication skills are beyond reproach!) but hinges on a semi-healthy Fuller.

He did put up 121 yards of offense yesterday

Getting a big kick out of all the knuckle-draggers on social media today saying it was a bad hire based on one game. Do us a favor and watch tennis instead. Soccer? Cricket?

Anything but football.

As a Vikings fan, here is my thought on Stefanski. He survived on staff with the Vikings through several coaching changes. He must be good at something. He's an Ivy League guy, so he's probably pretty smart. As an OC, he was charged with doing what Zimmer wanted and this year, what Kubiak thought Zimmer wanted. If the big losses this year were his gameplans, better luck next time. If the big turds were Zimmer via Kubiak, you should be fine.

He's been with a team that has vocal, pessimistic fans. He'll just have to wear more orange now.

It is a game of inches, but if Henry keeps carving out 150+ running games, it will be hard for any team.

It was a shocking game, but the Titans are for real.

Is anyone else not pleased with the NFL letting 15 guys into the hall of fame on top of the 5 that will be picked in 2 weeks?

The 5 new guys, who are most/more deserving of the honor are going to get overshadowed. There's 2 coaches going in. Cower was announced yesterday and Rich Eisen said someone at fox today. I think it's going to be Jimmy Johnson.

How are they going to do speeches? It's crazy long now with 7 guys. I love the hall of fame speeches but if there's 20 of them I'm out.

By putting 20 guys in at once it feels like anyone can get in. Cheapens/lessens the award.

Mike Ditka and Joe Namath are in the Hall of Fame.

Let that sink in.

It's starting to feel like the Pro Bowl, more of a popularity contest than an objective look at their stats or contributions to the game. I like Cowher, but I don't think the resume really supports an induction.
