Quoted from BillySastard:A tie game in the 4th quarter and you guys bitch?
Yeah no complaints here. Good game.
I’m seeing a nice clean defensive struggle
with big hits and few flags, refs lettin em play. Figured you Neanderthals would be into this lol.
It’s practically 1935 with this shit.
Quoted from Colsond3:If I wanted to see no scoring I would’ve went to the bar and watched my buddies.
Lol. Good call.
Not watching the game fellas. My only home is that the refs blow another call and cost somebody the game. (Very salty today)
Quoted from Jodester:Not watching the game fellas. My only home is that the refs blow another call and cost somebody the game. (Very salty today)
Game was called excellently and cleanly actually. Probably the best called game I’ve seen all season.
Sorry man.

How do you think the Saints would have done against the Pats Levi?
Quoted from Jodester:How do you think the Saints would have done against the Pats Levi?
No clue.
But I think Ali would have beaten Tyson.
I also know it’s been like 4 hours since Cheatbag66 has come in here to whine about the patriots cheating.
I hope he’s ok! Someone should check in on him.
Old school smashmouth defensive football. Can't believe the Patriots Defense held the Rams to 3 points.
Quoted from Jodester:How do you think the Saints would have done against the Pats Levi?
They would have won, or Brees would have thrown 5 picks. Either way, it would have be 100X better then that shit.
Goff had the yips all game. Most of his throws were floaty and inaccurate. NcVay couldn't adjust his offensive scheme like Andy Reid did. The offensive holding call on the Rams in the fourth quarter was a killer. But 3 points is just pathetic. It's almost as if Belichick knew every play the Rams were going to run.
I love some Defensive action but that was piss poor offense from both sides. But god damn 3 points? With Chung out that much? I knew not to trust a young QB against Bellicheck but wow that was a woopin. Gotta be the worst Qb'ing I've seen in a SB?
Goats getting goatier.
EDIT: I don't know whom Rams backup Qb is but I think i should have seen him around half way through the 3rd.
My ongoing opinion is that Goff isn't very good. A good qb finds a way to win that game against a questionable defense and with an excellent defense on his side.
The Pats consistently do what it takes to win and that's what i will always appreciate and envy about their run.

Yeah you put some 30-year old up against Bill I guess we should have seen it coming. McVay got McSchooled.
Still I've seen far worse Super Bowls surprised to see all the grousing. Remember the 80s when ever single SB was a blowout?
Quoted from Erik:My ongoing opinion is that Goff isn't very good. A good qb finds a way to win that game against a questionable defense and with an excellent defense on his side.
I thought Goff looked starry eyed in the pregame shots of him. Then the Patriots defense knocked him around and it completely put him off of his game.
In a league where pretty much every rule favors the offense, a defensive game is fun to watch once in a while. I get tired of shootouts where the last team to have the ball wins.
Quoted from John_I:Greatest living American wins another.
Funny, but the person who actually believes he is the greatest living American probably thinks he won the Super Bowl because he is friends with Kraft, Belicheck and Brady. Will he be serving fast food?
Quoted from Jodester:How do you think the Saints would have done against the Pats Levi?
And so it begins. All the Saints fans will be pouting that they would have beat the Pats and that the Rams didn't deserve to be there. Saints could barely beat a banged up eagles team at home. Lost at home to a Rams team that only scored 3 points against the Patriots. No chance the Saints would have beat the Patriots.
I should act like a Saints fan and complain that the Rams would have won if the Refs had called a pass interference on the play before Goffs interception. The pats player clearly grabbed and held down the Rams receivers arm.
But nope. I refuse to be a pathetic whiner. It was a good no call.
Quoted from BillySastard:I thought Goff looked starry eyed in the pregame shots of him.
I think he looked drunk. I think the shot they were going to give Gurley's knee accidentally made it in Goff's neck.
Quoted from CrazyLevi:Still I've seen far worse Super Bowls surprised to see all the grousing. Remember the 80s when ever single SB was a blowout?
It's a boring vs interesting situation. Those 80 & early 90s were all blowouts but they had great plays that are still remembered today; This thing was a total shit show. Close for the whole game but it wasn't so much tough defensive play both Qbs were just throwing shit in the dirt or whatever the fuck Goff was doing.
All I could think Was Balt NYG 2001...and at least that Defense was a beast.
This should easily go top 3 worst easily (that anyone currently remembers).

These days I truly have trouble remembering past 2 or 3 years. So yes this was surely the worst in the past 2 or 3 years!

Levi still owes me $10 grand for that phony fentanyl shipment? The Hondurans are not pleased.

Understandable mistake, but that was Maroon 5.

You would.
Hey, is this the thread to come and gloat about the Patriots winning another Super Bowl?
Ok, now I’m going to complain about the most important thing. I’m not buying that Super Bowl Championship hat. Yuck. Did Roger Goodell design that as a delayed punishment against the Pats for winning so much? That’s not going to sell well. Usually on the morning after a Super Bowl victory I head over to the pro shop at the stadium to grab my hat so I could wear it to work today. It’s worse than the brown Super Bowl Champions hat from a few years back. So I guess I have to pick from one of the other 5 to wear today.
40 bucks for this??? Nuts! I don’t care that they rip me off for these hats so often. But give me one I’d want to wear in public.
Quoted from BeaglePuss:You would.
well it is the only really monumental thing to come from this one...
So great to see 2 men (and ones with a large but completely acceptable age gap) coming out on national TV like that as such a pure moment.
"That super bowl where Tom Brady kissed the team owner on the lips"
Quoted from vicjw66:And Noone was happier about it than me. But this is the Los Angeles Rams. And they are gonna stomp on the Pats.
Whoops.

I love what Alvin Kamera said about last years Saints team :
"We'd beat the (explet out of (the Eagles) cause we was rolling," Kamara told Bleacher Report. "If we won (against Minnesota), I knew nobody was gonna stop us cause we came all the way back."
This is an Eagles Team that scored 79 points in the championship game plus SB last year, but sure the lame ass Saints were going to beat the bleep out of them.
Well maybe your team should play the whole game and not whine about one play every year why you lost, that's a lot of woulda and coulda talk for a team that hasn't won jack lately.
I also love how the Falcons were *so close* almost (should have) beat the Pats in the SB then almost beat the Eagles last year.
Quoted from vicjw66:And so it begins. All the Saints fans will be pouting that they would have beat the Pats and that the Rams didn't deserve to be there. Seriously dude?
It would have been a higher scoring game with the Saints there for sure. Just glad I didn't watch the game.
WTF is up with Todd Gurley?
Gurley said after the game that he was healthy.
here is his coach : Sean McVay: "Todd is healthy. We just didn’t get a chance to get anyone going offensively, and that starts with me."
here's a quote from an article :
Not giving Gurley the ball changed the Rams’ offensive identity, and keep in mind they were playing a Patriots team that struggled to stop the run for the entire season, giving up 4.9 yards-per-carry and over 1,800 yards on the ground. His work rate was available, as Gurley played 40 of the Rams’ 60 offensive snaps, and he led the team in total touches — but at a time where the team needed a spark they failed to lean on their best offensive weapon.
“No, it’s cool, man,” Gurley said about his number of touches. “Like I said, it’s a team sport. There’s 11 people on the field. Everyone can’t touch the ball. Still a great season by us. I’m blessed either way it goes. I’m just grateful for the opportunity to be able to play in the Super Bowl.”
Quoted from rai:I love The Big Lebowski commercial.
Weird that one of our own came up with the idea.
Quoted from Rascal_H:Kaneda. His marketing idea.
The K man, nice. It is actually a great commercial.

Kraft was so drunk he would have kissed Namath.
Quoted from CrazyLevi:Kraft was so drunk he would have kissed Namath.
Lol. My buddy is a big Jets fan and he said that watching Namath give the Pats the Lombardi trophy was like watching your daughter do porn.
Only watched a few minutes of the game.
Apparently did not miss much.
1st half I did happen to catch the missed field goal. probably the best play of the game.
Spent most of the time watching Deadwood DVDs and Kitty Bowl and Puppy Bowl and Dr. Pimple Popper.
Missed halftime.
Saw the end of 3rd Qtr was still tied 3-3.
Saw parts of the last 3 minutes of the game, missed the (essentially drive/game ending) interception.
Most action of the game appeared to be the end of game interview (scrum) attempt with Brady.
I hate both teams, only thing worse would have been if the Cowboys had made it.
The Dude would never have been caught alive in his jellies in a place frequented by Carrie.

not hardly, that was probably the 180th best play of the game.
Quoted from rai:not hardly, that was probably the 180th best play of the game.
The longest punt in SB history was pretty thrilling. Glad I was there to see it.
