Well that aboot ends the game fro the Jags
Quoted from Erik:How are Steelers fans feeling about seeing Harrison here?
I don't mind. They weren't playing him so might as well go to a team that can get him another ring.
Well not hard to figure that one out; Blake Bortles - 0 Rushes
Quoted from Lethal_Inc:Screw the Patriots!! I hope they lose to who ever in the SB.
I hope they lose to the Vikings, but the Pats will make it interesting.

Everyone's quick to dismiss the Eagles, but the Vikes won on the mother of all flukes. I still don't know what that safety was doing.
I think this could go either way. Cheering for Vikes tho

Oh I’m not dismissing the Eagles. It’s gonna be tough.

Eagles won on a bad throw by Atlanta....both teams pulled victory from the jaws of obvious defeat....should be a great game....GO...****'*!!!
Quoted from John_I:Vegas line could be double digits?
Doubt it. Beating the Falcons by 8 was their biggest margin of victory.
Congrats Patriots! Hard to lose when you only commit one penalty. Least penalties since 2011 in that game against the Ravens.
Quoted from mcluvin:Foles sure wasn’t doing this last week.
Well, neither were the Vikes....yes, I'll post my misery starting now. It was a nice thought, but reality rearing its ugly head....ugh!!!
5ish years ago I thought it would be an unwatchable Super Bowl but an average Giants team kept it close and pulled off the upset. Eagles can't be any worse than them, amirite?
(Trying to generate some interest in this matchup since it looks no bueno!)
I've been a fan since Tarkenton was traded to the Vikings from the Giants.....kind of weird how it always turns out this way. No logic behind it....Patriots will win, life goes on....
Now that’s the Case Keenum that I remember from his time with the Rams last year. I’m bummed that the Vikings didn’t get their home SuperBowl. Two weeks for the Patriots to develop a strategy against Nick Foles does not give me confidence in the Eagles. The sun shines on a dogs ass every once and a while. And the sun clearly shined on Nick Foles against the Vikings. The big stage will be too much for him even though the Eagles have a superior team. Like all Patriots Superbowls (excluding 1985) it will be close, but look for Foles to fold under the pressure late.
Quoted from dhard:And the super bowl winner is me as I'm a heavy favorite to devour the mighty nacho!
And your arteries are a heavy underdog.
Early Super Bowl lines has NE favored by 5.5 with a o/u of 47.5
Honestly don't know the Pats aren't at least a 7.5 favorite.
Just like all their other sb titles, they'll probably win by 3
Best bet: Pats moneyline -210
Quoted from vicjw66:And your arteries are a heavy underdog.
Actually the nacho is the underdog I bet it don't make it to halftime and my dietician advises me to grease my aorta twice daily proper for maximum longevity
Maybe your right what the hell are those vegetables doing on there
Quoted from dirkdiggler:Honestly don't know the Pats aren't at least a 7.5 favorite.
Because the line is only a money line. It's points that the "bookie" gives to the "mark" so that they will be more likely to bet on the team that will probably lose. If too many people bet on the Pats, the line shifts so that more people bet the other way. If it was based on the actual probability of winning, everyone would bet on the Pats, and when they won, it would be a huge loss for the people taking the bets.
As for the Pats, the next two weeks will be a blast. We will hear stories of strife in the team, coaches hating owners, owners hating players, players upset at not being playing of the week, blah blah blah. Meanwhile the Eagles will be built up as the greatest team ever put on the earth. And then the greatest quarterback in history will join with some unexpected hero and bring home his sixth ring! GOAT!
The Pats were big favorites last time they played Philly in the Super Bowl. The Pats of course won but it was a much closer game than anticipated.
No, it’s more like I sense.....
Under inflated balls and Philly practice spies who suck on Belechit. CHEATERS!!!

The only stat I'll be interested to see is who has the zebras on their side this time around.
Quoted from CrazyLevi:I'm done selling the shitty Eagles short. They are going to win the Super Bowl!
They sure are shitty, but would be fun to see their scrub QB take down Brady. I’m guessing we’ll see another 15 point performance like vs Atlanta though. Oh well.
Quoted from Lethal_Inc:CHEATERS!!!
Yeah Man, let the hate flow. And it’s Belicheat, not Belechit. If you are going to be butt-hurt, do it with respect for the greatest coach of all time, William Stephen Belichick. Or you could just call him Bill.
Quoted from fosaisu:would be fun to see their scrub QB take down Brady.
No it'll be one of their defensive ends, but oops, 15 yards unnecessary roughness will be the call. I'm done.
For people outside of NE and Philly, who are you rooting for and why?
I would think that the two fan bases are fairly universally disliked across the nation, so I'm curious to see who people want to win (or lose less I suppose).

Joe Gibbs is the greatest coach of all time.
You try winning Super Bowls with Doug Williams, Joe Theisman, and Mark Rypien!
Quoted from BeaglePuss:For people outside of NE and Philly, who are you rooting for and why?
I'm rooting for Philly because I like to see a team that has everything, and I mean everything going against them rise above all the BS and pull out a win.

You went from "I'm done" to "I'm rooting for Philly" in like 4 posts.

At this point I'll route for the Pats. Best coach & QB ever and they don't have a ton of time left. I couldn't stand them forever but as I've said before they outlasted me.
I wouldn't be upset if they lost though.
