Seattle showed their lack of class once again with multiple fights and two ejections when the Jags were in victory formation. Bennett was involved in it just like he was in the Super Bowl loss to the Pats. Somehow, Bennett did not get tossed. Then the Jags fans showed their lack of class by tossing drinks on one of the ejected players. It was almost a repeat of The Malice at the Palace.

#9752 6 years ago

2 giant kick in the nuts today topped off with a $739 ticket loss on the last play of the Eagles/Rams game. Meaningless td ruined my 3 game tie parlay

#9753 6 years ago

Jacksonville fans are bums. Throwing crap at a player is a total dirtbag move. Although it was funny watching Richardson from Sea get hit square in the face and then trying to get in the stands.

Quoted from SteveO:

God I know I wanted this one so bad.

#9755 6 years ago

If he wasn't so fat he probably would have gitten in the stands. The little security guy or sea coach climbed that wall like spiderman

Quoted from TheLaw:God I know I wanted this one so bad.

#9756 6 years ago

Well shit. Reports have Wentz out for the season. Had a great season going. NFC just got more interesting and easier for MIN, CAR/NWO, LA/SEA

#9757 6 years ago

Uff Wentz AOL. That's a shame another young qb out.

#9758 6 years ago

The Vikings lost their starting QB game 1 and they're right there... no excuses Philly!

#9759 6 years ago

The NFC is up for grabs. I could see any one of 6 or 7 teams go to the Super Bowl. The AFC looks like it will either be the Pats or Steelers going.

#9760 6 years ago

I sure hope the Bills make the play-offs as a wildcard team.

Snow game highlights vs the Colts.

Hope the other AFC wildcard team comes out of the AFC West.
http://www.espn.com/nfl/playoffs/machine

I was proud of Jax Jags for beating the Seahawks, especially when you know the Seahawks were confident they would win and roll into the playoffs.

There was some fights and chaos too in the Jags-Seahawks game, but I'll let you guys search those out.
I wonder if there will be any players suspended from all that?
Seahawks will probably make the play-offs as a division winner or as a wildcard, but it would be great if they miss out.
I'd rather see the NFC wildcard teams come out of the NFC South and NFC North.

Quoted from Pinball-is-great:

Doubtfull. The snow helped them win that game...3rd strong QB in a real weather game isn't going as well.

I've been watching long enough to witness 4 superbowl appearances, and lose them all....go Vikings!!

#9763 6 years ago

Didnt see that coming. I thought picking Bungels to win my knockout pool was horrible but the other guy had NE winning.

#9764 6 years ago

Hostetler came in for a injured Simms and won a super bowl. Odds are it ain't going to happen but eagles defense is pretty solid. Ive been hearing they should go after Romo. Jerry would have a stroke if Romo signed with the Eagles. Make it happen!

#9765 6 years ago
Quoted from dirkdiggler:

Which begs the question whom was running the defense then

Quoted from dirkdiggler:

haha that is literally the dumbest idea I have ever heard and is just awfull.

Quoted from dirkdiggler:

Wait sorry i was too harsh I take it all back MAKE IT HAPPEN!

#9766 6 years ago

Haha. I thought the same thing when I heard Romo's name come up but instantly thought of the crazy ol man trying to sue cbs for breaking his contract

Quoted from TheLaw:haha that is literally the dumbest idea I have ever heard and is just awfull.

Random thought : The bears are 4-9.
They have beat Carolina & 3 AFC North teams with Cleveland still to come.

Yes, but what does that have to do with anything? Wasn't that like 40 years ago? Philly has no excuse! Next man up... Wentz is overrated anyway.

#9769 6 years ago
Quoted from MK6PIN:

It should have been 5 appearances. The Vikings best team ever blew a 10 point lead to the Falcons in the NFC Championship game 20 years ago or so.

Earl Morrill filled in for Bob Griese in the Dolphins' 1972 undefeated Super Bowl season.

Trent Dilfer was the QB for a Super Bowl winner. But the Ravens that year had one of the greatest defenses ever.

Quoted from SteveO:

I would say that was their best offensive team ever. Their defense was average. I remember their field goal kicker that year was like 38 for 38 and had not missed all year. He missed his only FG that would have put them up by 2 scores with like 3 minutes left in the game. Some teams definitely seem jixed...

Buffalo 4 SB losses in a row still tops all IMO. Remarkable to get to 4 in a row but to lose all 4... PAINFUL! After that they went downhill from there and haven't been back.

#9772 6 years ago

Gary Anderson was one of the greatest kickers ever...that was the most unbelievable part of that miss.

It is pretty odd who they have beaten this year...

#9774 6 years ago

Week 15 is shaping up to have some real awesome games. A few I look forward to:

LAC @ KC
LAR @ SEA
NE @ PIT

hoping the chargers can win out and take the AFC West. Hoping PIT can take #1 seed throughout.

#9775 6 years ago

Watching the Rams lose to Philly was painful. Just couldn't stop them on 3rd down. Horrible officiating. Every call went against the Rams and there were some really atrocious ones. I guess since there were so many Eagles fans at the coliseum, the refs forgot who the home team was and gave the home cookin to the visitors.

Quoted from vicjw66:

No they just call some horrible shit all the time now-a-days

#9777 6 years ago
Quoted from dirkdiggler:

but eagles defense is pretty solid.

It was until they faced the Seahawks and the Rams. Gurley had 13 carries on Sunday - if the Rams would've doubled his carries the Eagles would've lost. I haven't been happy with the Eagles D the last 2 weeks - they need to step up.

Quoted from teekee:

In the running for MVP

Quoted from SteveO:

I was rooting for Randall to get a Super Bowl ring.

#9778 6 years ago

Key matchup this weekend for the Hawks, a win would give us the division. I really think that Russe... er the Seahawks can pull this one out!

#9779 6 years ago

God what a year he's having. I don't see how he isn't the MVP and I am no Hawks fan.

#9780 6 years ago
Quoted from TheLaw:

God what a year he's having. I don't see how he isn't the MVP and I am no Hawks fan.

I had about turned the game off this weekend when they were down, I should know better. I cannot believe he got us back in this one, too bad the defense and refs let the hawks down this time.

#9781 6 years ago

A few lines are confusing this week. Keep in mind home field advantage is typically 3 points.

Chargers are favored by 1.5 at the Chiefs?
The Cowgirls are favored by 4 at the Raiders?

Also the 49ers are favorites against the Titans? Is mariota out?

#9782 6 years ago
Quoted from dirkdiggler:

No Mariota is playing but the 49ers being favored is part of the 'Jimmy Garoppolo effect'... or is it 'Jimmy Garoppolo affect'? Plus the Titans have to be the worst 8-5 team out there!

Quoted from Ronnie1114:

I don't know how the refs missed the Jags defender falling and pulling the Hawks receiver to the ground.

Wilson had a 2 play drive and a 1 play drive to make the game closer than it should have been. No doubt Wilson is the MVP this year, and doing it with no running game (except his) and a poor offensive line.

"Marvin Lewis' 15-year stint in Cincinnati is ending abruptly. Find out why the long-tenured coach and the Bengals are deciding to call it quits at the end of the season..."

Boy I can't even imagine why?

#9785 6 years ago

Marvin lost the flash drive with the compromising photos on them

Good likable guy but probably should have happened at least 5 years ago.

#9787 6 years ago

Gotta say that last nites game was very playoff like..big implications. Maybe my chefs have turned it around after that losing skid. Glad that Kareem Hunt is back to running the ball effectively. And to think that he was a 3rd round pick..

#9788 6 years ago

Ouch! Shithawks getting their asses handed to them at home. 34 - 0 at half

Hey Fox. BREAKING NEWS, we get it. The vikings made the playoffs.

#9789 6 years ago

That's pretty much what I expected to happen with NE PIT. Steelers squandering their chances and coaching dumb and getting beat by Brady. Hey why not leave Gronk open the entire last drive? Smart letting the rushing TD in but then they blew it so hard.

That Catch was so obvioouly not a TD I don;t know what nance & Romo were watching.

#9790 6 years ago

Ben tried to get cute with a fake spike and bit him in the ass. Hahahahahahaha
Why didn't they spike it, kick a fg and go into overtime?
Major fukn chokejob. Just cost them the afc most likely.

#9791 6 years ago

Patriot win their 9th consecutive division title breaking the previous record, held by the Patriots.

Actually 6 or 7...latest was when Saints did the whole bounty thing on Favre...that team was sick.....

Previous, Cunningham found a way for them to lose......

They've won the NFC North, and it barely gets mentioned in passing on the media..... guess they are bracing for the other shoe to fall......always does. A bunch of no names that just keep winning...(guess I'm a fan for life at this point).

#9793 6 years ago

He caught the ball and made a “Football Move” to use the NFLs own term. Once he broke the plane of the goal line with the football in his hands, it’s a touchdown and play is over. NFL jobbed the Steelers and the Vegas book made out like bandits.

#9795 6 years ago

Touchback!

Nope...not how the "process of a catch" bullshit works. He didn;t have 2 feet down then a football move. His football move was turning and diving which the ball came loose.
Believe me, it should be a TD but they have to over analyze everything to microscopic levels and here we are.

THIS

#9798 6 years ago

Didn't have control of it before breaking goalline

Being a Steelers fan I think it was for the best. Get the Stroud coaching out of the way now....if Jax doesn't come in and blow them out again.

#9799 6 years ago

The Megatron rule is bogus. When Calvin Johnson's TD was ruled an incompletion, he didn't lose control until after he was out of bounds. In any other league, Jesse James would have had a TD. The refs called it right the way the rule is written. It is just a horrible rule.

#9800 6 years ago
Quoted from SteveO:

It is just a horrible rule.

I'm guessing something will be changed this off season... just too many inconsistent calls relating to this rule.
