Exactly. He caught the ball and had 2 feet down. Why should he have to hold onto the ball when he’s out of bounds? The play is over and done when the players are on the ground out of bounds.

It was so close, in which case I assume they stick with call on the field. If weve learned anything this year though, is that rules are simply an interpretation. Eagles got a free catch vs 49ers, I guess this is the makeup 
call.

Even Olsen said there wasn’t enough to overturn it. He had it jammed against his helmet and had control. 2 feet down in bounds, knee down out of bounds. Control during the rest doesn’t matter.
Gotta move past calls like that. Eagles have a 10 point lead and KC gets the ball. Eagles D gut check. They've been on the sidelines for most of the half. KC offence 8 minutes, Eagles offense 22 minutes. A 3 and out would be huge, or just a punt.
