My grandson is turning 16 soon. Looking for something reliable in the $5000.00 range. Small pickup preferred.
I buy him a truck. He hauls games for me!

Good luck with that. Smaller trucks like Tacomas and Frontiers command crazy money around here if they are low mileage and decent shape.

I was going to suggest a van because they make much better pin haulers until I read your post. Most teenagers wouldn't get caught dead in a van!
Anyway good luck with your search!

It wasn't always that way. Back when I was a teen the coolest kids in high school owned vans. And they got the girls too.
I remember those days! "Got the girls" is typically what was going on in the back of the van. But not much good for a pin hauler with the bed in the back!

Funny, I sent my son a link to the van that is for sale here on Pinside. He laughed and said kids today would not be caught dead in a van! My first 2 vehicles were vans back in the late 60's. Everyone was envious! Times have changed.
