    Man... don't even get me started on "CFLs are garbage".

    Every CFL we've installed in our house, I've had to replace within 9-12 months. Every one. Rooms that get a lot of on/off usage throughout the day (e.g. bathroom) we're replacing every 4-6 months.

    And the few incandescents I've got left? Most of those have run daily since we bought this house... eight years ago.

    /me shakes fist at companies who abandoned good ol' incandescents so they could money grab on CFLs. 5-10x the price of old incandescents, and you gotta replace them at least once a year.
