Quoted from DennisDodel:I've been thinking about getting a wedgehead gravestone for many years. Now that I am approaching 70 years old, and the average age at death of my ancestors is about 78, I figured I better start checking around.
A local company gave me an estimate of about 10 grand for a granite stone (with pedestal of course) with all of the bells and whistles to make it an exact copy. Of course, it would have Game Over, my name instead of a game name and the date of death on the score reel area.
10 grand seems a little steep, but I know nothing about the monument business.
Also, I had thoughts of bringing it to pinball shows but I'm told the thing would weigh about 1500 lbs.
I know a guy that does engraving, he's also a tattoo artist so he's talented. I don't believe he's involved with making the stone but I could check if you're serious
