Theres a Medieval madness for sale at an auction. It has an early production date and what I think is a very low serial number. 53359-100003 with an 05/22/1997 production date. Is this possibly the third one off the line? Third regular production I dont think its a sample. However there are not many good playfield detail pictures. Just wondering if it might be something special.

Are the boards red or green?

Hello, does the castle surround blue like this one?

Found this from a prototype, seems the first came beginning of march. Yours should be a sample though since production started in June.

It's for auction. I can't see it in person and there are no good detail shots of the playfield. Since I probably won't get it here's the link, if it doesn't show it just search medieval. http://www.capitolonlineauctions.com

I can see that the MM in the auction does not have blue around the castle graphics between the slingshots. It has white around them like regular production MM's. It's also got quite a bit of playfield wear by the scroll by the flippers.

I guess it's a sample anyway according to the manufacturing date. Only proto has blue around castle.
Might be some differences on playfields with regular production.
