Are original schematics or manuals worth anything more than the reproductions? I have a few original schematics & I was thinking about laminating them. Do folks collect the originals?

People collect anything. But if you're concerned about value, don't laminate them.
Most of the time, I prefer originals to ensure the schematics are readable, and aren't a photocopy of a photocopy or have pages that are taped together.
However, sometimes there are errors in the originals that are corrected later.

Don't laminate it. That will ruin any value. That's like taking a perfectly good pinball machine, chopping it up, and turning it into a coffee table.

Good point. I'm going to include them when I sell the machine but I wasn't sure if I should "preserve" them by laminating them or not. They aren't in pristine condition.
