Any insight here? I’m going to be purchasing a JJP pin and am wondering why would I order from a distributor vs ordering directly from JJP? Thanks for the feedback!

JJP buying experience was excellent. Most distributors are just as smooth.
Plus... you get the service tech extraordinaire... LTG with either purchase.

It doesn’t matter unless you go with a distributor that files bankruptcy.

    ALWAYS SUPPORT YOUR DISTRIBUTOR!

A good distributor will always go to bat for you if any situation should happen. The distributors are very important in keeping this hobby alive. Typically you will get a better deal through your distributor and they will also give you an unbiased opinion on what game is right for you. Again there are some real Joe Shmoes out there but if you were to go to a good distributor you will be very happy.

Below are ALL Great Distributors any one of these people will make your pinball purchase enjoyable.

    Flip n out Pinball https://www.flipnoutpinball.com/
    Pinball Star http://www.pinballstar.com/

Ha, thanks. It's nice to see that even though we don't agree on everything that we agree that a distributor makes things better.

    Absolutely YES to this!

Pinballstar was/is great to deal with; Joe is the BEST! Set me up with a really nice and inexpensive shipping option.

I bought a TH direct and had no issues except waiting in line for mine ... and the delays were agonizing. If they are "in stock" it should be fine. If you are buying a JJPOTC, you would likely get it quicker from a distributor that already put in a reservation for a bunch of games that they are trying to sell. JJP takes credit cards and some distributors do not. Some distributors will have a deal of some sort to save money - usually with cash or check. Shop around as some people have told me.

I WILL be buying a DILE at the end of the month and will be going with one of the distributors if I can get a good deal out of one of them. I agree with the idea of supporting a distributor and having them help to be our advocate if there is some sort of issue, just wish there was a rating system for them on support.

I had a great experience going direct thru JJP. I bought a Ruby Red WOZ, but wanted to make sure it had the 2.0 lighting in it. I spoke with JJP to find out how I could identify them with distributors and they told me they had some in stock. When shipping had a problem, they even got me some money back on that too. Very happy with JJP.

Neither. Buy a huo and save yourself some money.

This is tempting, but don't you lose the warranty with a HUO JJP?

I can't imagine not using a credit card when purchasing a pinball machine in this day and age.

When I was actively purchasing NIB, I always went with the least expensive authorized dealer.

I totally agree because of these high price JJP pins, but if you want a good deal, you will likely not find one using a credit card. The distributor has to pay those credit card fees. I have found (in my limited price search) that if you want to pay with a credit card, you have to pay full price for the pin with no deals (maybe a shipping deal if you are a military vet). If you find otherwise, let me know.

Have ever gone to a pinball expo, pinball show, and saw a distributor with games for you to try/play? Guess what? Those distributors are paying to be there, paying for the games you are playing, paying for their hotel at the expo, etc. Distributors can not do that IF you are not buying games from them!!!

On the other hand, if you are fine buying a game sight unseen and without ever having a chance to play it at an expo...then by all means, please buy direct from a manufacturer.
