I recently got an EXTREMELY nice Orbitor 1 in a trade, and I'm super happy with it. Like all machines, of course, it developed a couple of small issues while being transported hundreds of miles, and I was hoping some other Orbitor 1 owners (the few, the proud) might be able to give me some advice.
The main issue is that the upper spinning bumper keeps registering phantom points during gameplay, usually when a flipper coil fires. My guess is that the vibration across the playfield is juuust enough to slow the opto disc that registers points. Is there any way to reduce the sensitivity of the spinning bumper?
In that same vein, what's the best way to access the underside of the playfield? Can you easily remove the plywood sheet, or do I need to hire a child with tiny hands that can fit in there?
Thanks in advance!
