This is terrible! And I thought we were friends.

Quoted from flashinstinct:I'm glad you're upfront about your cost .... too soon?
Disneyland might be getting $8 now and I'm not sure the monkey is still there. So consider it a bargain!
Quoted from pinballjah:Do you have "Thread of the Year" on this site?
10k posts by x-mas!
Quoted from NiftyLED:chrome was free?
Yeah, but after I started using it I found they were storing my personal browsing habits.
Quoted from NiftyLED:have op send a neutral 3rd party with cash to pick it up.
I'll take the money!
Quoted from pinmister:making Evan whole

Quoted from surfsidedetail:nate daniel niftyled please cease and desist using the domain OrangeCountyPinball.com
They should probably just go with OC Games, ya think?
That would make it a $7000 game. I get the feeling they are focusing these remakes in the wrong direction.
Quoted from provato:feels really good to see the happy ending.
At no extra charge!
Quoted from whthrs166:How much is all this grief worth?
I'll pay a dollar for another thread just like this one.
Quoted from Sticky:The machine works great from what I hear but the legs don't have those leveling pads at the bottom. Does anyone know if someone ships this overnight?
If you don't mind driving to north OC, I've got a bunch and I'll be here all day.
Quoted from CactusJack:If so, I am in Lake Forest and I can set out 4 leveler legs for someone to pick up later tonight (after 6:30PM). Just PM me if you want them.
That's closer than I am for sure. And I wouldn't want to drive up I-5 on a Friday if I didn't have to. Freeway sucks.
Quoted from surfsidedetail:If you have been riding the coat tails of our success and intentionally deceiving customers looking for the legitimate Orange County Pinballs in Fullerton CA we will be taking action.
I'm still looking for the legitimate orange groves around here.
Quoted from DugFreez:people are going to associate this incident with you and your company even though you did nothing wrong and weren't even involved in any way.
Yeah man, no more soup for you!
Quoted from Travish:Come on O can't you poke somebody or something?
Not if I keep on wasting so much time here.
Quoted from Buzz:You guys are great. I did it all today Odin style.
But are those authentic Rainbow sandals? lol. I do live in those things.
What Levi said got me thinking. No, I never have a problem moving games or doing any other work while wearing my Rainbows.
However tip toeing across the side rails of the EMs in the garage to get to the top shelf in them may not be the smartest idea although I've done it a few times with no problem.
Until last weekend when I was moving an old TV and the cord was stuck and when I pulled on it my foot slipped between two machines and I fell back and ate shit on the concrete floor. Thought I would break something , at least my leg between the machines on the way down. But lucky me, I'm like this guy. I bounce!
Quoted from spfxted:I would have forced Buzz to take $1,000.
That would buy a lifetime supply of Rainbow sandals!
Quoted from Sinistarrett:Better than watching " A Christmas Story" for 6 hours straight!
It's more like "A Christmas Carol" to me. Like when Scrooge got visited by those ghosts one night and woke up and immediately tried to change his ways.
Quoted from CactusJack:I much prefered Scrooged.
Scrooged is great! One of my favorite Christmas movies. However that scene in Scrooge with the reaper and Albert Finney in hell is classic and just what this 9 year old kid needed to see at the time. They went all out on that one.
If anybody missed out on this restored Playboy while it was up for sale, there is a comparable in the same general area.
Quoted from CactusJack:$600 more and no Chrome.
Looks to be missing the artistic touch up skills too.
Quoted from Pickle:I have read the entire thread.....I don’t mean any ill will to Nifty but all they did was damage control.
I guess you missed the part where they did the actual damage.
Quoted from irobot:My wife told me that when she was a kid and her parents gave her some quarters for the arcade, she would play the Playboy pin because she figured it was a "girl's game".
When I was young we played it because it was the newest Bally and it was everywhere, but for no other reason than that.
In the mid 70s Bally was starting to blow all the competition away with it's fast gameplay and contemporary art packages and by the end of the 70s into the early 80s they were king.
Playboy was average in gameplay, and we were still trying to get used to those electronic sounds, but compared to some of the other games at the time, it was pretty fun.
Quoted from irobot:I'm not that much of a fan of the late EM / early SS games. Game play is too slow for me.
The earliest pin I really liked was williams Space Shuttle.
These statements always crack me up. My Skateball, Flash Gordon, and Stars play as fast or faster and less clunky than any Space Shuttle I ever played.
