I’ll take my 2018 Cummins over any other motor. That’s what matters on a truck. Almost 1000 lbs of torque factory. Sure the trans on dodge isn’t the best but that’s relatively cheap if it needs rebuilding down the road.

I only own them for 1-3 years anyhow then resell and rebuy. Body is much better in newer rams than older ones. I’ve owned every brand truck. Cummins is best motor by far. Chevy sucks all the way around I had a 16 Silverado top end model. Was like a 65k truck. It was a turd performance wise, interior was not nearly as nice as dodge. Owned a raptor, was around 90k, it was just an overpriced gasser nothing special. Better interior than Chevy not as nice as dodge is. Had a power stroke, comes close to a Cummins but the bed is shit in fords and the interior isn’t great as mentioned.

Here’s some options on the dodges and what mine has: air suspension, light bar under tailgate, tailgate assist, automatic wipers, power back window, heated rear seats, heated and cooled front seats (all seats are leather) and of course all the other gimmes like lumbar, dual cameras, parking assist sensors, automatic folding and extending towing mirrors etc

I agree old dodges are not impressive but the newer ones are nice. New dodges also have the 13”? Screen which is nice.

I am partial as I can buy a 90k-100k sticker priced ram for around 60k-70k as well. I get solid deals on them so that just puts them over the top IMO. EGR delete and im at 25 MPG average too. Power strokes are a second to me. I wouldn’t buy foreign so they are not an option for me. I need something that can pull 20-25,000 lbs.
My trailer full with my route equipment can easily get up to that weight. Also note the Chevy in the background, only have that one because my dads cheap and it was $170 a month lol.

Oh and the alpine sub and speaker upgrade for dodge is better than any other factory upgrade speakers by far.
