Quoted from ReplayRyan:F no! Pin2k was genius for its time and never got a chance to shine. It was everything that people are still asking for today! Modular system, meaning easier repair and ability to change games in same cabinet...color display instead of dots...real stereo sound with actual subwoofer in the cabinet...original/non-licensed theme (RFM)...etc. And it used a freakin' baby AT computer setup with a Cyrix CPU (oooh, 1xx Mhz) and CGA display! I mean holy **** with the advancement of computer technology since then who knows what Williams would come up with today. They could have given Disney a run for it's money on the use of Pepper's Ghost...a 100 ball multi-ball where the Genie returns for TOTAN 2 and is throwing the balls at you and they look so real you're ducking and the machine is shooting air cannons at you. Sounds ****ing awesome right? But no, more people would rather play a slot machine.
Anyway...I can respect what JJP is trying to do. But it doesn't even match up to the 2 Pin2k titles from over 15 years ago IMO. You play the pinball machine, not the display.
yeah what he said!
