I second this!
I will never understand how Swords Of Fury is so underrated. It's such a great game! It is right in the number one spot for "pins I have to get"
Great games you don't hear much about.
Are a few of many (probably 200k games made from the 80s)
For the early years. I count Gorgar and Flash also since they were all over the arcades in the 80s
The eighties, my specialty. In no special order.....
ES - the first shaker and just a great experience
WW - pinnacle of System 11 goodness IMO and one of the best regardless of age. Who will argue that System 11 isn't Eighties tech??
Taxi - speed and flow. Whack spinout scoring is the only flaw.
Cyclone - Awesome call outs
Quoted from badpenny61:
pinballslave, 10,000 comedians out of work and your tring to be funny, Ha, Ha!
At least you realised it was a joke!
The fact is that I'd have serious problems trying to pick out my fave games from that era... just for starters:
Eight Ball Deluxe...
The list goes on...
I've never played Hollywood Heat, from what I gather, it's an excellent game!! I seem to remember reading somewhere that it's some 'famous' designer's favourite game... Anyone hear this?
Robocop and black knight 2000. Both have great sounds and play very fast!
Love the end music on the robocop machine. It was the main reason I bought it many years ago (for $80 ,-good old days)
