Yeah man I'm fully aware how threatened a bunch of old white dudes feel about being confronted with their own pathetic prejudice. I'm obviously not in it for the thumbs up. It's pretty hilarious though how a simple request to keep off-topic boobie posts out of pinball-related pinball forum topics is responded to with you and vid and a half dozen others acting like their human rights are being violated, and posting boobie pics like it's some rebel act of defiance and not just a bunch of idiots taunting the objectors and making sure people know exactly where women stand in pinball culture.

This thread and a few others made me realize that "All Pinball" is already becoming the subforum that Bowen is asking for. The other subforums cover so much excellent ground, all that's really left to post in "All Pinball" is gossip and other crap. So I'm going to hide it for a month, and see how Pinside looks without it. I know that some of the posts are good, but it's too easy to get sucked into the quicksand.
Of course this means I'll be taking my Solid State discussions to the EM hangout - sorry Odin.

When broadcasting for PAPAtv, it's among the most frequently asked questions in the chat, the video comments, and emails: what websites are recommended for someone who is getting into pinball? Perhaps Pinside isn't meant to be that place.
I'd like to think I haven't been a whiny crybaby in this discussion, but that's a matter of opinion.
