I think you are jumping to quite the conclusion that there has been a philosophical change to "raise the build". I would not be that hasty or naïve to come to this definitive conclusion. This particular pro looks awesome, has a lot going on, and was done by my personal favorite designer, but I wouldn't bet the farm that this is the status quo from here on out. Borg told me personally that he designs the LE first, then subtracts to reach the pro. I believe he is the only one at Stern to do it this way, thus the awesome pros he puts out.
