Slithis!!!! WTH??? lol wow 1978 film currently with 1.5 stars on IMDB.
Triva: Main actor Win Condict had to be sewn into the rubber Slithis costume every day because said outfit didn't have any snaps or zippers. Moreover, once Condict was in the costume he had to stay in it for the entire duration of a day's shooting. The cast and crew averaged fifteen hours a day throughout the shooting of this picture

He needs to just sell the hardware and then make the gif available for people to do with as they wish. Should be pretty simple to sidestep any sort of legal issues.

It didn't stop him from doing the TZ mod. I'm going to go out on a limb and assume he didn't have a license for that either.

i understand copyrights,license and all that but bottom line at least he was trying to offer a fix for some of us that have blue and fading holo at a good price. if these people that has the license working harder on making a replacement instead of tring to kill an idea we would all be better off. I will be watching for a 300.00 hologram replacement from them ha ha sorry had to vent
You might see a hologram, didn't Universal just license both Creech and MB for repo parts?

Something will eventually come from Planetary Pinball now that they have the license, whether it be a new hologram, or they could license an LCD mod like the one we've seen. In a perfect world, we could maybe get both 
If this mod is designed the way originally posted, there is no copyright infringement. The end user has the option of what is displayed on the screen. It could show a Walmart commercial if that's what the purchaser of the mod installed once they received it : )

According to a thread on RGP about this same mod, Rick from Planetary Pinball seems interested in pursuing it, I would urge the developer to contact PPS and see if something could be worked out, these need to be done!!!
